It all began about a month ago when I was researching online to find something fun and exciting to do with my family for my Mom's 70th Birthday. I came across Pegasus Sidecars website and filled out a form online to get some information. Within an hour I received an email and a text from the owner Nik. He gave me so much information regarding all the various tours and he was so polite, approachable, understanding and professional. We went back and forth several times and he answered all my questions that by the end of my research I felt like I had known him for years...haha. After all my questions were answered I went ahead and booked the La Jolla Tour. There were 7 members in our party. My husband, kids, my brother, my parents and myself. Since this was a gift and surprise for my Mom's 70th; Nik assured me he will make it a fun and memorable experience for her and he sure did When my family and I reached the pickup point we saw 3 sidecars. 1 main one for the birthday gal (special BMW bike/sidecar) and 2 others for the rest of the family. Nik along with his other drivers Carson and Bernardo introduced themselves and explained everything to us from the tour route, safety features and how to wear our helmets. All 3 gentlemen were so professional in their work. Through the bluetooth helmets we could communicate to each other and we could hear them explaining all the history of La Jolla and at every stop we made we had the opportunity to click some amazing scenic pictures including the coastline, the UCSD campus, the memorial park cross, the air show at Miramar, etc etc. The ride in the sidecars was truly exhilarating and the entire experience was magical. I would definitely do this adventure again and highly recommend Nik and Pegasus Sidecars Tours for your next adventure. Words can't quite describe what an amazing time my family had but thank you Nik, Carson and Bernardo for a beautiful ride filled with historical knowledge, laughter, scenic views, music, jokes, friendliness, beautiful sunset and most of all your hospitality. My family and I truly had a wonderful time and we hope to see you again soon on another adventure tour. Thank you Pegasus Sidecar for making my mom's milestone birthday this past weekend a remarkable one.

First, before the tour even started, I had mentioned to her I was having some headaches for lack of caffeine, when she showed up with the fan she had a cooler in the back for Mexico coke! To start the day, we went to La Bufadora, the blow hole. Along the way, she talked about some of the history of Ensenada Mexico in general. Traffic was heavy, and she took some back roads which gave us a glimpse of how hard life can be for many in Ensenada, as well as farming and local life. We got lucky and the blow hole gave us a good show. After the blow hole, we made a quick stop at the beach. We stopped at this little dirt parking lot and there was a little trail going through the field, we felt lost at first, but then we came up over the hill and it was a beautiful beach . Something off the beaten path most people would not typically see on a tour of Ensenada. Also, it was a unique experience and that there were tens of thousands of jellyfish that had washed up on the beach that week. Even the locals were amazing confused at what caused it. Next, we headed to a zip line tour and spent the next couple of hours doing five zip lines and five rope bridges. At the end we stopped at a little shop and got some delicious ice cream bars. Finally, to wrap up our tour, she took us to a tiny little taco shop in the middle of Ensenada that had amazing street tacos. We were on a cruise, and didn't want to pay the prices that cruise excursions cost, so we were happy to find a Lizette and really happy with how the day went. I highly recommend others schedule time with Lizette as as well.

A hummingbird nearly took my eye out a few minutes ago and I couldn't be happier. This place is very special. "Hidden gem" doesn't do the journey to find it justice but the hunt really paid off in the end. A perfect place to hide, unplug and really relax. Not too fancy but quintessential charming. The staff is hard working and very happy to be here. And Jim and TJ work their butts off to make sure everything is just right. I would recommend this oasis for reunions, corporate retreats, family getaways, destination weddings, and so much more.

Our guide Jose was excellent! He never ventured too far ahead, always making sure we were right behind him. We ended up popping a tire in the middle of our excursion and Jose changed our tire in addition to making sure we were all calm and uninjured. The terrain was a mix of hills, bumps, rocks, and portions of flat dirt road - not to crazy for us first-timers. Halfway though our excursion we stopped at Rincon Tropicana, a beautiful resort in the middle of the canyon we were driving through. The resort featured a monkey and other animals, in addition to beverages! Would definitely do this again! Highly recommended!
