They had said it would take 3-4 hours but they finished with him a little sooner. They have text alerts to remind you of your appointment and to let you know when your pup is ready to be picked up. All the staff members I interacted with were really sweet. Maybe a little too sweet, they said he behaved really well when they were giving him a bath, I think they're lying about this because this dog is notoriously anxious, especially at bath time! He got a cute little Halloween bandana to take home and was suspiciously calm on the car ride back. I would highly recommend this place!

He comes home with a little report card and I can often find photos of him posted on their Facebook page. I even got text messages of him in the salt water pool. Yes, a salt water pool! Apparently, that's better for their skin! It seems like the dogs get plenty of play time with people that love animals. On his last visit, I had them give him a bath before coming home. He smelled SO clean for almost a week! Boarding here is pricey, but I'll continue to bring my dog, as I know they take great care of him!

The vet explained what to do for her for the next couple of days and gave us one can of a bland diet dog food with some antacid and specialized feeding plan for a day or so. She told us the results of the physical exam and did not feel that the dog was seriously ill.Said her stool was normal, no signs of distress or acute stomach irritation. No fever, etc. Really nice woman and everyone explained everything fully. Very professional and caring atmosphere. Really good experience.

They have additional staff to assist with annual testing and shots, so when the veterinarian came in he was able to give us the results. He was able to take a look at a hot spot and additionally testing that I agreed to after his assessment of my dog's health and chart. The visit took longer due to additional testing and waiting for results. But left with new information on my dog's health and medication/treatment that will be needed. Check out was fairly easy as well & quick. Overall time from arrival to leaving the office was estimating 2 hours or less. There was only a couple of pets in front of me so my wait time wasn't too long. Sometimes the parking lot is full and wait times my vary.

That's where I was yesterday. No breed judgement, no food judgement, no lack of care judgement. Just love for my pet and a gentle reminder that Ticks are bad out where we've moved to. At the office I found out I hadn't taken my dogs to the Vet in over two years. While some places would call you neglectful and possibly berate you Dr. Howell did not.
