Of JESUS CHRIST! :) The crew here works so hard to bring this captivating story to life - and boy do they succeed! My favorite part was the theater set-up. Even when you see the 7 or 8 obvious scenes upon arrival, what you don't see is hidden in the hills above! It was so cool how they transitioned from scene to scene using torches and powerful lights to direct your eyes. It kept the play moving seamlessly. At first, the single track pre-recorded audio bothered me a bit, but it was actually super easy to hear ALL the words, track who was saying it, and understand the references. They worked in SOOO many scriptures!!! What a night. Even without seeing all the other attractions on sight, we felt our time was well spent.

I was impressed by the multi level stage set up, the use of live animals (and what they left behind…read moregave the scenes authenticity) and the pacing of the show (the actors ran or walked quickly to give us a sense of urgency throughout). If you wanted a good visual representation of the final days and resurrection of Christ this is a good show. The only nit pick I have was the American accents through out the production. This is not a historical accurate play nor do they say it is. In fact , Kevin Sorbo explained to us that much of the dialogue was inspired by the Bible. So there's that.

Then you get to pose for amazing pictures with the cast which I will not post because it might give away too much of the plot. There's drinks and snacks for purchase but you'll have to deal with the challenging situation of wrangling kids and no cup holders. I'm an adult and couldn't see a thing over the person in front of me, I missed several parts of the show, so it didn't feel worth the purchase. We watched the pet show. We spent around $200 for a family of six. Couldn't leverage the family pass with mom as a third adult. The first 25 minutes was inviting the audience to tell jokes and going over show rules. I could do without the host's political, gender diversity, pet death and mental health and cognitive jokes in a show meant for kids but I'm not a Midwest native so this might be area normal? It was cringy. I would have picked a different show if I knew ahead with two neuro diverse children. When the pet handler, Valari, conducted the cat and dog show it was very entertaining and he did a good job. The first part lasted eight minutes and later a three minute costume and country themed pet segment, interspersed with the host. Then intermission. I will say thank you for merchandising on stage. I have been to shows where staff walk around and literally put toys in your kids face before you agreed to purchase them creating a frustrating situation. So thanks for not doing that! There was a parrot fly by with beautiful macaws for 1.5 minutes and a husky dog segment for 3.5 minutes. There was a pretty funny parody song of Home with lyrics about car trips and family life. There was fun final cat show for about 7 minutes. It's a good show for little kids albeit a bit long for them to sit. Wouldn't want less of the 25 minutes of pet show in an hour and a half time slot but there are other opportunities to cut back some time.

We saw the live radio show which was being recorded live then it would be broadcasted at a later date. It was interesting to be part of that and the behind-the-scenes for a taping like this. Tickets for this particular show were $10 for adults which was not bad. We sat towards the middle and on the right side. This fast-paced show featured Acrobatics and Balance (chair balancing, rolling cylinders, ...), Aerial and Strength feats (Chinese pole, duo silk aerials), Juggling and Object Manipulation (balls, jugs, and umbrellas), traditional Chinese mask-changing, hoop diving, tumbling, and more. This is a professional show with a very talented and engaging cast (I counted 12 performers), a beautiful series of stage backdrops, well-synced Chinese music, and dramatic lighting. The show is offered every day of the week. It runs about two hours, with a 15-minute intermission. Parking is free and plentiful. I would recommend it for adults and children; it's family-friendly. Tickets are currently $50 for VIP seating, $48 for all other seats, but there are bargains to be found on Groupon. Staff are the theater were friendly, and there are concessions as well as a gift shop. The only minor thing to say about the experience was that the seats became a bit uncomfortable after sitting in them for 2 hours.

From jokes to harmonies & soul fluttering music that brought me back to my roots! The costumes were perfection, musicians and entertainers were amazing! Transitions were so smooth from one song to the next with comedy sprinkled all in-between. This is truly a show for all ages! It's hard to pick a favorite moment but I think mine was the veterans shout out and standing ovation during the "Proud to be an American" rendition. Such an awesome must-see experience!
