I've been sick twice now and both times I was blown off and told if I'm not feeling better in a week and they have an appointment they will see me. A week? Or I can always go to an urgent care. Really, that's how an established patient since 2007 is treated When the call their supposed primary doctor. Needless to say I won't ever be contacting them again. Time for a new doctor.

Luckily there was no one else in the office so that was a plus. I will mention he, Werthaim, said for me to see my primary doctor (FYI I don't actually have a primary doctor) or see a dermatologist. Whatever, but that's not what upset me. He recommended some blood tests and at this point I reminded him that I have a phobia of blood tests as a result of a poisoned appendix when I was a child. I would have liked a cream or something. He then starting posturing to me that he has 35 years of experience and that if I was going to question him that he other patients to take care of. This is the reason I have stayed with them so long. They are all thorough, caring and friendly people and I have had nothing but great experiences with all if them. That being said, I have never in my life met a staff that I have disliked as much as theirs. Not only are they completely rude and make you feel like a complete burden, anytime you call, but they are so unprofessional when you are in the office, as well. Don't expect to be greeted with a smile, it's more of a "what do you want"??? I get a sinking feeling in the out of my stomach anytime I have to call there. You're immediately put on hold for 5+ minutes (this happens every single time I call) and when someone finally picks up, you get a very defensive "why do you need To come in"..."what do you want"... "What are your symptoms". I understand thoroughness but you're not my doctor and I don't want to tell a rude lady on the phone my personal problems. Furthermore, On a recent visit, I waited 35+ minutes in a waiting room (which was by no means packed) only to see the staff, turn on the answering service and eat lunch, that a Pharma rep had brought them, in front of all of us; ignoring patients, on both the phone and in the waiting room. They were also talking loudly about "what a pain" this one can be, etc. I was embarrassed for them. It really is unfortunate because the doctors and nursing staff are fabulous and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Only issue I have is getting the staff to answer the phone very frustrating to have to keep calling back & can't leave a v msg as box is always full as well as RX refills . beware of "A wolf in sheeps clothing" I was advised by this doctor that if I was not happy with the…read morecare I was getting from the nursing staff and him, he will be at the rehab within an hour to sign the papers. an hour later I was on my way home. Little did I know that without my knowledge I signed myself out. Not once do I recall this doctor discussing my problem with me. he was more concerned about his relationship with a former boxing champion, than my problems. When I complained about a patient sitting in his wheel chair covered in vomit, I was told that I was not his doctor, and it was none of my concern. When these same nurses complained to Bonner about my outburst on patient care, he agreed with them and told me to shut. This is why Bonner wanted me out of this rehab. when I complained about the lack of care myself and others were getting, his response was "If you feel that way then you should go home'. Once I returned home and saw the amount of medication he prescribed, 9 different pills 4 times a day equals 36 pills before bedtime, I called his office as instructed on my paper work. When secretary told him who was on the phone and why, he refused to talk to me. He could care less what effects these pills had on me, or my wife. outbursts of anger along with stress thinking about what I was taking or what good they were doing. After several attempt to get him, I gave up and call a druggist for help. Was advised to shelf the meds and see how I feel. Took his advise and am happy to report that most of the rage, and anger is gone. what bothers me more than anything is that this 'so called doctor, and these nurses" will never have to account for what has been done

So, like I said before, I came in for a job to get a physical, skin test, and drug test and the service was stellar. Every nurse was SO sweet and helpful, especially considering I didn't know what to do. Both the doctor and the nurse explained each test they ran and went through all the procedures thoroughly for me. I felt like I was being taken care of rather than pushed through like most clinics I've been to. Also, the office is very clean but a little old. It's not state of the art or anything. It's located at the JFK Hospital but it's tucked away into the woods in the back. It's in Parking lot G, but there is no sign for G. Instead, follow H (leads you into "Family Practice"), which will take you to Occupational Health Services. I had to drive 30 minutes to this place so I'm glad it was worthwhile.

The first time I went to Occupational…read moreHealth the doctor took an x-Ray and told me that he didn't see anything and it was just a pulled muscle. He gave me a week off from work. I then returned a week later and even thought I told him I was still in pain, he sent me back to work and told me that the pain was all in my head. The day I went back to work I couldn't take the pain and my company sent me back to them. There the same doctor told me that i was fine and it was all in my head and that he did not want to do an MRI because if he found something they would have to treat it.(hmm) I then went to my primary doctor who sent me for an MRI and it showed that I had a partial thickness rotator cuff tear and an impigment on my shoulder. Went back to the doctor and he told me that it is normal to have rotator cuff tears as we age (I am 27). I then asked to speak to the chief who then sent me to an Orthopedic. I've been coming to Occupational Health every month for one year for this injury and every time i come it takes 3 to 4 hours of my day.
