I've been working out of this space for more than two years, and it's been a great experience! They have everything I need, and quite a bit more. The staff are incredibly friendly and you build a relationship with them and it's almost like they are a part of your company. The facility is gorgeous . If you want break away for a lunchtime workout or get your workout in first thing in the morning before a busy day, BCI have got you covered with their well-equipped on-site gym. Our small business needed to move out of Gather because the price was too high for the amount of…read morespace provided. We found DeGratia in October 2024 and, after a few missed appointments on their end, toured several offices at their North Chesterfield location off Courthouse Road. The pricing initially seemed reasonable, so we chose to move in. Unfortunately, the office was not fully ready on our move-in date and several items that were promised were incomplete. We worked through the initial delays, but after we settled in and got the office set up, we continued to run into ongoing issues that were never properly resolved before we left in March 2026. The original manager we worked with was later promoted or left, and while the second manager was pleasant and appeared to genuinely try to help, many problems remained. Examples included smoking near the entrance, trash left in common areas, an overflowing and highly visible dumpster, bathrooms that were not consistently cleaned or stocked (and at times appeared to be used for drug testing), roaches, and thermostats that did not keep the building at a consistently reasonable temperature. Our agreement also referenced a kitchen with coffee and similar amenities, but the kitchen was very bare and the only coffee available was a Keurig placed there by another tenant. Sadly this is not a place we would want a client to experience. When we tried to negotiate a lower monthly rent, upper management declined. We then asked about moving to a smaller office in the same building--or to the building directly across the street (also owned by DeGratia). At the time, one building appeared to be at least 35% vacant and the other at least 60% vacant. We also met a new tenant who had moved into an office roughly 25% larger than ours and was paying more than $100 less per month. Despite this, DeGratia was unwilling to adjust our rate. We ultimately moved out completely on March 31, 2026. We are giving DeGratia 2 stars only because the second manager truly made an effort to address our concerns. Otherwise, based on our experience, these properties would be a 1-star rating.
