The dad works at the shop and he's not very polite , he doesn't care if you patronize his business or not. When he gets to my house 12 hours later, I had missed a whole work day, waiting, no calls, or updates. I'm the one calling them. The so. Finally shows up near bed time and lets me know my dryer isn't worth fixing. So I tell him I'm going to see what he has at the shop, but I decided not to purchase and they wanted 75 for the service charge that took him literally two days and me calling and bugging . I did not want to pay that much bring they cost me so much work time from my schedule as well so that was that . They were upset with me and I was just as upset.

Man, we were luck to find this shop. Adam gave me a fair evaluation of the situation and several options, was quick to contact me with updates and helpful suggestions (e.g., a Black Friday sale in case I wanted to grab a new laptop for him to clone my old one onto) and took care of everything for me. Since we were visiting from out of town, I took the simplest option, but Adam would gladly have done more for me and gotten it done quickly and with a friendly demeanor. I'd absolutely return to him if my wife spilled a cola or some green chile on my keyboard again! ...But I hope I don't have to.

I poked around the website and sent an email with my desired specs, Louis (the owner) responded quickly and we were off! Louis was communicative and professional in both our email and phone conversations and provided me with progress reports and pictures throughout the process. When my guitar showed up it was perfect, exactly what I had requested down to the strap buttons! With so many reports of scams and dishonest builders in the custom guitar business it's comforting to know there are still honest people like Louis who do great work and stand behind their instruments. I'm sure I'll "need" another guitar in the future, and when I do, I'll be calling Scero Guitars!
