I own a rental property in Fredericksburg that I've been renting out for 15 years to Military families. However, for the last renter, I decided to give a single mother of 4 a chance to start over. I don't know what came over me. Her security deposit check bounced, she was late 5 out of 7 months on rent. After 4 months of trying to convince her to vacate the lease, she finally left - and left behind about $30k in damage to my house. Garbage everywhere, broken appliances, damaged walls, gun casings and cigarette butts everywhere, and then ever broke off the shower nozzle just for fun. This company has been in the business of private investigations for over 34 years and the owner is a hard working gentleman that I have used several times over the past few years. He is honest and fair and the comments made by Ms. Cindy are truly unfair. If you listen to her words, she is not speaking logically. She seems angry and maybe the anger is misplaced. I had a choice when I need an operative to go out and conduct a check on my wife, either wait or use the nearest operative that was available or schedule the nearest operative to where the GPS tracker was going every Friday and Saturday night. If she had scheduled the operative she could have saved money. I know these things. I too dealt with a similar issue my self. I was given a choice, either schedule an operative or take my chances and take the nearest operative that was available at the time I needed someone. I had to write this review to set things straight. How absurd to say that the guy fell asleep. Why.. because he took a few more minutes to answer her calls. It is a shame how these sites allow people like Cindy to lie on an individual. She should call the better business bureau and see if she can fix this before she goes on and on an tries to hurt someone business. If you don't want to waste your money, I recommend not using The Agency for your investigative needs. The communication was inconsistent and the service was not followed through on. They left my family with a lot of outstanding questions and unknowns, yet charged us amounts that we weren't expecting. At first, the impression of the case worker is compassionate and this is to get you to provide your card number for a retainer. I advise that you don't provide a retainer until you understand exactly what will be delivered, the timeline, and the expectations/availability of agents. We were provided confirmations of services that never happened. We are out of over $1,000 and left in the dark. We didn't receive any reports that we were told we would get and charged for those as well. This company is professional, precise and communicate often. If you are looking for anything from cheating spouses, ex's or in my case, a greedy ex wife of my father's whom remarried, and is still trying to garnish his disability check.
