It was a very cool experience and one that I'll be adding to my annual Tulsa traditions. I was very impressed. The lineup was awesome. Fortune Feimster from Chelsea Lately and Monroe Martin completely killed it. We liked it so much and had such a great time that we decided to purchase tickets to the 10:30pm show. My cheeks were hurting from all the laughing and smiling! There was a short break in between which gave us plenty of time to grab something to eat and then come back. I did feel a bit frustrated because their electronic system was down so they ended up not even checking our tickets. Felt like anyone that attended the 8pm show could've easily just walked right back in. I wasn't a huge fan of the 10:30pm lineup mostly because of my taste in jokes I guess. I'm one of those people that believe some things are just not funny nor appropriate, like joking about rape, molestation or pedophiles... I think it's insensitive to those that have been through a traumatic experience like that and it can be misinterpreted by others as undermining the seriousness of it. I don't think it's acceptable to use that as a butt of a joke unless the comedian is actually a victim themselves and have gone through it firsthand. If that's how they cope or deal with it all, then that's their right but I didn't know if that was the case. Others didn't seem to mind...(rant over). The late show was definitely more "raunchy", dark and morbid, which is good to know now (maybe this is common knowledge?). I did enjoy watching Ron Funches though and overall it was a good experience.

Yes, they're showing a little age, but they were nice and comfy. The sightlines were smooth, too. I also liked the side entrance. I'm not sure if it's for VIP members or certain sections - you might double check - but it was a nice way to bypass the larger lines at the main entrance. I didn't buy concessions, so I can't comment on its state, however the ushers and other venue staff were polite and happy to help. I didn't see much parking, so you might keep that in mind. Walking - my hotel was a couple of blocks away - or using a ride share / taxi might be the best options.

This is a local joint. This is a place where everyone seems to know each other and mostly regulars…read morefrequent the place. We came to see a local band play, the Wanda Watson Band. The bar is small and surprisingly cozy. On this night all the tables were taken but the place wasn't uncomfortably packed. They have a jukebox, a pool table, a dart board and cheap beer... all the essential ingredients for a local watering hole. Don't come here for the wine unless you like the cheap, boxed variety. They have karaoke 3 nights a week and their schedule of live bands appear to be once or twice a week. If you can't stand smoke, don't come here. It's a constant haze inside. But if you like live music, ice cold beer and friendly locals, then this is the place for you.

Regardless, I do love this venue and wonder why we don't go to more shows. Last time we had floor seats. This time we were up in row R but the view was still fabulous. This is an intimate venue. The staff is amazing and seem to truly love their jobs. The only thing that would make this better would be if you didn't have to walk through the casino. :)

She brought them right up on computer. Then some man digs through my purse. Before it goes through metal detectors. Then we find out Whiskey Myers wasn't going to show. I bought tickets for Myers & Black Crowes. Our seats were so cramped we couldn't even move our legs. Plus we spent half the night getting up to let others through. The stairs are way too steep & dangerous. Lights flashing, you can't see them. Crows played for 1 hr & 29 minutes. I've never been to a concert that short. The vocals were unintelligible. Very uncomfortable experience. Couldn't enjoy it. And 2 hours is the minimum of a good show. 1 encore song. By the Rolling Stones? Joe Bonamassa played for 2.5 hours. Very disappointed in the entire performance & experience. The stage was the only thing that was truly good. They did a great job with the lights. The old car the drummer was on. Very nice job with light show. But the show itself not at all. Way too short. And one band doesn't show up. Not good.
