Falcon Roofing we kept hearing great things about! We hired R & L Home Solutions LLC for residential home improvement work in Knox County under a…read morewritten contract totaling approximately $15,000. The work was not completed as agreed, and the contractor ended work before the full scope was finished, requiring us to engage replacement services. During the project, property damage occurred, resulting in delays and additional repair work. Formal invoices were never provided. Despite multiple written requests, the company failed to supply itemized billing, receipts, proof of licensing, or other documentation relevant to the project. Payment demands continued while the account was in active dispute and before requested documentation was produced. Certified mail sent to the business's last known address was returned as undeliverable due to an expired forwarding order, and the company did not provide an updated service address despite repeated requests. Written requests for clarification and documentation were often unanswered or only partially addressed, and the explanations for claimed charges changed over time without supporting records. Based on our documented cost analysis, we have already paid more than the value of work completed. This review is shared to reflect our experience and to encourage others to carefully verify documentation, licensing, and billing practices before hiring.

Turner Exteriors did an outstanding roofing job on my small office property in west Knoxville. They…read moreresponded promptly when I sent an inquiry, they gave a competitive bid, and worked to schedule the work around the needs of my tenant. When an issue with the trash dumpster came up on the day of the work, they called me and offered solutions that worked out well, and didn't cost time on the job. Their communication was excellent, as I had a few text messages and calls with William Hunt, the estimator. This communication was very important as I, the owner, live in Europe, so working around the time difference was important. The work was done on schedule, and properly. I would gladly recommend Turner Exteriors to anyone needing a top-quality roof installed.

The cost was high for such "messy" job. In the end of the job I was left with dirty baseboards, that took me hours to clean, spots on ceiling without paint and an entire bathroom that according to the contractor was not included on the estimate. Apparently, they do not read their own contract. It was included. My house is on the market and it needed to be ready to show, we had to show without them finishing. I expected much more from this company, because I was paying a lot for this job. The lack care for details was horrifying. They did not remove the switch plates from the walls resulting in a half done job and more cleaning for me. I hope everyone who thinks about using this company be prepare to watch them every move to assure you receive what you paid for or better yet find someone else.
