Pad Thai Beautiful make me hungry tastes Good for me is yummy food. Yum yum Padthai Good service fast food

Greasy drunken noodles

This is not Thai food. Not even close. Boiled chicken. Watered down curries and sauces. Not cooked enough. Oily noodles. Really disappointing, especially given the prices. Won't be going back.

Pad Ma Mung Lunch. Cashew Chicken.

This is our favorite place to eat in Raleigh. We drive two hours to eat here. We mainly order the cashew chicken and the orange duck, but even if we venture out onto other things, everything is wonderful. The pork shumai are great and delicate, the vegetarian eggrolls are fantastic, the sweet-and-sour is really good, even the house salad tastes good. Someday I'll venture and try a few other things, but when you drive two hours, I prefer to get what I already know, and I am just too satisfied. We do not order out, we always eat there, even though there are only two tables. Anyone who doesn't like Thaiphoon Bistro is either lying, jealous, or crazy.

Pad Thai (3/5)
Bryce P.

Overall: Really solid food. Painful wait times. Pad Thai (3/5): Good flavor, though the ratio of items were off. Too many noodles and not enough fillings (meat/veggies) and sauce. Would venture for a different noodle dish or curry if we were to go back. Pad Ma Keur (4/5): Favorite dish of the night. Super flavorful and relatively light. Really appreciated the use of chinese eggplant, versus regular eggplant. Good with pork and with tofu. Added broccoli to give this dish a bit more texture. Would order again. Bonus: Order well in advance. Our 40 min wait turned into a 75 min wait, and we weren't the only ones there who had to wait ~2x beyond the time originally stated. This alone has left me uncertain as to whether we'll order from here again, which is a bummer as the food was really solid. Hope they get this right.

This is the golden triangle. Don't bother.

My overall experience here was awful. Disclaimer: I did order through uber eats (some stuff you just have to have at the restaurant). There was no flavor in either entree and I am no tofu expert but the golden triangle was also flavorless and the dipping sauce was mediocre at best. The only reason I'm not rating this lower is because as stated above, I had it delivered.

Food is great but it's such a bad customer experience when you change your hours and don't update them on Apple Maps.

Thai Crab Rangoon

One of the best crab rangoons in Raleigh. They have great lunch specials. We recommend their red curry and pad Thai

(Very)Sweet and Sour Chicken
Markita A.

Went in to give them a try and I ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken lunch special. It comes with a salad and steamed rice. I will say that I did not enjoy the main dish. It was way too sweet for me. Like candy sweet....so I'm giving them 3 stars for now. I'll give another dish a try and report back here.

Best Thai food in Raleigh! Yellow curry is amazing as is the crab Rangoon and spring rolls. Got home delivery and still hot and delicious!

I have to say about this little gem, I've been cheating myself…read more Why is it that I moved to my current location in 2021, and never think to look at places on Six Forks Road? Maybe it's because I lived in Wake Forest, maybe it's because I work there still, IDK, but I've glad I can make up for lost time now. A friend wanted to meet for lunch and suggested this place. Funny thing, he got the orange chicken and didn't really like it. It is VERY orangey. I got one of the other lunch specials, I think maybe the beef basil one. Mine was good, so good in fact that a few weeks later when my family was needing an Asian fix, I sent them to Ni Asian. They were pleased, but got Chinese food. Last week, my daughter and I went, and wow, yes, WOW............I got the noodle dish listed first on menu (not a lunch special), ad it was good, but my daughter got the Pad See Ew, something I have never ordered, being a Drunken Noodle fan myself..........but I tasted hers, and it was so good, I was jealous. So, yeah, we went AGAIN yesterday, she got the Pad See Ew again, and I tried the Drunken Noodles, which were amazing..........not spicy like I'm used to getting, but so flavorful. What will I try next?

We each had the Thai Cashew and Veggies. I wish I had gotten an extra order to go!…read more Ni Asian has a smallish dining area. The bill was brought to us shortly before we stopped eating, but the staff were not over visiting the table to rush us. I left a double tip since we were there for over an hour during the lunch rush. Totally fair because, as I mentioned, there weren't many spaces available for eating in. I will definitely return to Ni Asian.

Right in the…read moreheart of downtown Raleigh, this upscale brewery blends historic brick charm with a stunning custom library and unique touches of elegance at every turn. We enjoyed several small plates, and not a single dish disappointed. Every bite was memorable. The atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for date night, a girls' night out, or even a quick lunch while enjoying a good read. A beautiful space, incredible food, and an unforgettable evening.

This is a one stop shop, brewery, flower shop, library/book store and dim sum restaurant!…read more The food. Really really good dim sum. I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

I came right before a show at the Alamo Drafthouse around the corner, which makes it the perfect night out for dinner and show. It looks like a lot of people order takeout here, but they have ample tables and do offer an excellent dine in service. I loved their green beans and eggplant. All their food felt more authentic and homestyle than your typical run of the mill Chinese place. The food had flavor, and it wasn't overly greasy either! I'll definitely come back next time in near north Raleigh.

This was my third and last visit…read more The lady who waited on me was impatient, impolite, and irritable. She spent most all of my visit sitting at a back table and reading. The shrimp, beef, & chicken meal would've been okay if the beef hadn't been questionably fresh (I didn't eat any after the first bite) and the tough, overcooked shrimp. I tipped 15% because the service was terrible. Aside from the lady yelling, "It's okay?" from the kitchen, she never checked on me. Usually, I tip between 25-30%. After I paid and left the restaurant, the rude cashier followed me out to my car. Pointing to the receipt & tip, he yelled, "This is it?? %15 tip??" The only positive thing that I can say about Chuan Cafe is that the Diet Coke was good.
