I first met Sam a few years back when I was having a bad bout of sciatic pain on my back. My legs…read morewere numb, I was in the absolute worst pain of my life, to the point where all I could do was curl up in a ball in bed and cry for several days. I had seen my doctor twice, and a chiropractor four times, and the pain was no better. Pain pills weren't touching it, nerve pills weren't touching it. We contacted Sam and talked to him and then went in to see him. He listened to me tell him about what was hurting, and then he did these stretches on my legs and my lower back and hips, and within a matter of minutes, my pain had been cut in half. Now, he didn't make it go away completely, but by the end of the first massage and stretching session, I was able to walk out of there without crying. He had me come back two days later, and after the second session of stretches, the pain was completely gone. After several sessions with others and pain meds and everything else failed to work, two sessions with Sam and my pain was GONE. Now, any time I get a twinge of sciatic pain, I go right back to Sam to prevent it from happening. Haven't had a bad episode since. I'm disabled, and a bit overweight too, and Sam works with me on my disabilities and customizes the massages for whatever my needs and health problems are at the time. He is upbeat and kind, has never made me feel embarrassed of self-conscious because of my weight or my health. He is always friendly, courteous and skilled, and he keeps up on new techniques and things to try for new problems I might have too. He gives fresh water after the massage for helping to continue flushing out toxins. He provides specials too if you're looking for discounts. My best friend always goes to him for her neck and shoulder pain, and we usually go together and make back-to-back appointments. I don't get to go hardly as much as I would like but Sam's prices are reasonable, his services are wonderful, and i would highly recommend him to anyone who needs relief from chronic pain, stiffness, back problems, or even if you just want to pamper yourself and relax--it's just, he's so much more than just pampering. I believe it's therapeutic and preventative too. The difference it makes in my life when I'm in pain and he can get me out of pain has been immeasurable, especially when nothing else worked. Go see Sam!

I was so impressed that I made an appointment. I have frequent migraine headaches, and he relieved tension in my neck and shoulders. I have been very impressed at the combination of techniques Sam uses. He combines traditional Swedish massage with stretching, some deep-tissue massage techniques, aromatherapy, fire cups, moist heat, and liniments. The massage oils he uses are very soothing and leave my skin soft and hydrated. Sam is excellent about listening to his clients and adjusting his massages to accommodate their needs, changing the amount of pressure he uses, avoiding areas or paying special attention to areas as requested. I appreciate Sam's abilities and have recommended him to friends and colleagues on several occasions. If you are looking for a massage therapist, Sam would be an excellent choice!

The room was dimly lit, relaxing soft music, love that the massage tables are warmed/heated, because I'm always freezing! They weren't able to add on 30 minutes, however, it was a last minute request and it just gives me an excuse to come back soon! Very relaxing experience and treat for Mother's Day weekend. The ratings for this place were pretty good. However, the massage was definitely not the so-called therapist asked me if I wanted soft, medium, or deep in which I replied medium-deep as I wanted to relax, she interpreted that as soft. In no way is a Thai massage soft! The only saving grace is that I fell asleep which I really needed, that's the only reason for two stars instead of one. But you're not likely to fall sleep if you're getting a Thai massage, as there is stretching and a bit of pain involved in getting the all the sore knots out. As for my massage here waste of money.
