This has become tied for our number 1 thai delivery spot when ordering with our Door dash membership. TOMYUM soup is suppppper flavorful. Tofu is fried- if that matters to you. My wife seems to think it matters. SPICY EGGPLANT is delicious with a side of rice. DRUNKEN NOODLES is good, not the best. They could generally use a bit more spice, flavor and the noodle texture can be a bit inconsistent. CHEESE WONTONS can be a tad oily when ordered as a delivery but the cheese with a bit of chive feeling hits the spot. 4 out of 5 times, very pleased with the meal. read more

I have eaten once from here and it was ok, I guess it all just depends on what you order and what you like.. last time I got salmon something and it was ok.. this time I got the crying tiger-it was alright.. the meat didn't have too much flavor and I'm not a fan of their dipping sauce. I also got the papaya salad Laos style and that I liked. It felt very rich in flavor but I didn't like how my noodles was already soaked in with the papaya and would have prefer they put it in a separate bag or container on the side. We had a big order and while ordering, the person taking the order sounded irritated and not too friendly. She said 30mins and we waited more than 30mins before heading out to pick it up, however when my daughter got there, it wasn't ready..so overall it's ok but I probably will not be ordering from here unless I have my sudden craving for papaya salad.. read more

This was my second time here. We've sort of made it our "stop to eat dinner" place before heading back home (Clovis/Fresno). Love the friendly and fast service, quality and quantity of their delicious food, and atmosphere/decor. We were a party of 5 ladies and the only customers inside the restaurant, but they had orders going in and out for take out. I'm happy they not only focused on those ordering for take out, but for us who dined in as well. Definitely will continue to visit this place when we're in town again. read more

So far a go to place for me. Their papayas was quite satisfying compare to many that I've tried. Their portions is good have almost all the condiments we would usually want. Service is nice and friendly, they were fast on getting the food out. Although, the foods came out at a weird time appetizer came out after the others. This is one of the best thai spots in Sacramento! The food here is great and the portion sizes are pretty good. It is a small shop but everything there does not disappoint. I would recommend the curry (I love the panang curry) or any of the stir fried dishes (Pad Khee Mow, Pad See Ew, or Pad Thai). For appetizers, the Thai Mango Sampler or even just the Papaya Salad on its own. They have both Thai and Laos style for the papaya salad (Yum!!) I also really enjoy the beef salad, its a small dish but balanced really well. If you are craving soup, the Tom yum soup is one of my favs or the boat noodle. I have also tried to Kaopoon and Kasoy here and those are really tasty too! Finally, dessert - YOU need to get the mango sticky rice!! It's a must have and its so delicious. read more

We ended up stopping by here when we went to Bober Tea nearby and were in the mood for some yummy Thai food. I loved that they offered a version of Tom Kha coconut soup with meat as it usually doesn't come with it or you have to pay extra. My husband got a Pho equivalent (they have a very diverse menu compared to other Thai restaurants, so it's like an Asian fusion in a way). I thought it was a bit weird though that they required us to pick up by 830 when they don't close until 9. A decent meal for a reasonable price.. the service was friendly and efficient (we were the only dine in customers there, but they had a few pick up orders as well and they made time to check in on us multiple times). I recommend the kapoon noodles and mango sticky rice for dessert! The pad thai was a too sweet for my taste, and the avocado curry had too much avo in it...I mean, thank you, I appreciate you didnt skimp on the expensive stuff but it was a bit overwhelming! First time dining in here since the pandemic. The food was great and considering the portions, they are reasonably priced. I got the kao poon and loved it. For about $9 the portion is really good in my opinion. The Thai style papaya platter was spot on. Loved the sausages. No complaints on the other items we ordered either, which included the combination fried rice, pad Thai, pho combination, red curry, and basil eggplant. We went right when it opened at 11, so the service was fast. There was only one person working in the front, so completely understandable if they are slow. I do appreciate their customer service considering they have a lot of pick up orders. Our food came out in a timely manner. Nice staff, she did come to check up on us. First timer here. Took a chance on this place after reading reviews from some unsatisfied DoorDash customers. Ordered the nem kao and ancient pad thai. Both were good! The nem kao was still crisp and wasn't soggy like a previous reviewer said. It probably would've been crispier if we weren't sheltering in place and you could eat it at the restaurant, but it was crisp enough considering it was steaming in a styrofoam container during delivery. I wasn't a fan of having warm lettuce with it, but that's what happens when you're getting it to go. Ancient pad thai was a generous portion. It's different and not sweet like most restaurants have it. This one is more savory with the dried shrimp. Menu description said it comes with cilantro, but mine came with a tiny amount - like 2 cilantro leaves. No big deal, it's probably just a garnish, but just an FYI for cilantro fans if that changes your decision. I'd order from them again. read more

Ordered my food waited their recommended "10 minutes" before coming , still waited an hour , three people got their food ahead of me ,one guy even walked in ordered and got his food in 10 minutes , and I probably would have waited even longer if I hadn't said anything . When I got my food home , there was not even a half portion in each container, the plastic bags they used to wrap up the food was FILLED with juices and was mainly vegetables in a meat dish. For years we have been going to Thai Chili on Elk Grove Blvd. This Sunday they closed at 3 until 5. Our group needed to wait until 2 to gather and that would not leave enough for a leisurely Sunday afternoon time together. Thai Mango came up and looked good so we gathered there. Great food...a functional atmosphere (plain white with windows to the north and west so lots of curtains to keep light levels bearable in the spring) and serviceable seating. Food was enjoyed by everyone including a picky 3 year old and the 14 year old found what he needed. Both Vegetarian and carnivores were happy. Tofu wonton soup was great...Pad Thai was very good...Pad See Ew fit all who tried it and Fresh Spring Rolls came with a spicy dipping sauce that fit the rolls well. Just not a great start. My husband ordered fried rice made Thai hot (extremely spicy) and that was vaguely sweet? I'm an absolute wuss and I thought it was fine which really says something. Their pad thai is delicious, I've ordered it 4 times already hah! Their beef larb is my favorite so far, it has options for how cooked you want it or raw, and either laos or thai style. Small place with a lot of other competitors, I would say try another location. The papaya salad is probably the one dish I enjoyed the most here. I thought the kasoy broth was too watery and plain even after adding condiments like hoi sun sauce and chili oil. read more

We live in a nice gated neighborhood in a part of town that a lot of people consider to be dangerous. I personally don't find it to be any more dangerous than anywhere else. I think most of those people probably just lead sheltered lives? We have been to this mall on dozens of occasions, perhaps even hundreds and we have never had a single reason to ever feel threatened in any way. We are lucky to have a tiny strip mall conveniently located so close to our neighborhood with a couple of our favorite restaurants. One is an Indian restaurant and the other is an Asian style seafood restaurant. Both have fortunately been able to remain in business for several years. This is very impressive since the mall is located in a very inconvenient area along Stockton Boulevard just south of Mack Road and is hard to get into if you don't know the area. Add the fear factor I have mentioned above and you know these restaurants have to be special to remain in business at this location. One restaurant space in this mall has not been so lucky. It was a teriyaki place then a Vietnamese restaurant that specialized in banh xeo (I was really sad when that place closed) and now it is on its third ownership as a Thai restaurant. I feel fortunate to have a Thai place so close to home and have tried to support each owner with my business and reviews. I can only hope that this one is successful and will remain open. Please come and help us support this small neighborhood business. Thai Mango has only been open a short period of time under the latest ownership so we have only been there once. I think the prices have remained close to the same for all three of the Thai restaurants. Remodeling has been minimal since the Banh Xeo owners transformed it into as aesthetically pleasing of a place as you could expect for a strip mall. Each owner since has made minor changes to give it a bit of their own personality but the atmosphere has remained, modern, clean, and open with plenty of windows that are tinted so, while not making you feel claustrophobic, you don't feel like you are on display in the middle of an asphalt jungle either. We ordered Basil Eggplant with tofu, Vegetables delight with shrimp, and Pad Prik Pra Dook. I make my own version of Thai Basil Eggplant at home that is very similar to the one served. They use larger chunks of tofu, eggplant and vegetable than I do but the flavors are very similar. I think they cook their tofu better than I do. I can never seem to get the thin crunchy exterior quite right. The vegetable delight was good, I liked the flavor of the sauce and the vegetables were cooked to the right consistency, tender yet still crunchy, but I would have liked a couple of more shrimp. read more

I have been looking for a place that makes HOT pad thai for several years, and have tried many, many Thai restaurants. Thai Mango has come closer than almost every other restaurant. However, they simply added a bunch of chili's on top of a finished dish. While not as good as adding them before (and, thus, having them well incorporated), it was still pretty dang hot - nice! Overall, the pad thai was really quite good (with a splendid abundance of bean sprouts), as was the Yellow Curry. The Basil Fried Rice is an addiction waiting to happen. We like this place a lot, and will certainly order again. A word of caution: The delivery fees are steep. For the exact same order, the delivery price was 67.45, but I picked it up for 49.35. Thai Mango has a 2.99 fee, plus GrubHub fees, plus Mystery Fee, and so-on. read more
