Every time I visit a Thai restaurant, I have to try their Drunken noodles. It's good but if I have a choice, I would get their special house chow fun for the same price with 3 different meats compared to their drunken noodles with only one choice of meat. But all in all, both dishes taste good. We also ordered pad Thai, but it's a little salty to our taste. We tried basil fried rice and Thai fried rice, and it's good too. I get thai quite often. I always order yellow curry with chicken, and spring rolls. The spring rolls were so terrible I couldn't even eat them. Is imitation shrimp a thing? Because the shrimp looked so off and it tasted disgusting. Had to throw them away and I always finish them. The yellow curry was the smallest portion I've gotten in town. The chicken in it was also chewy and bland with only a couple of small peices. They gave a little container of curry with lots of rice. I didn't have enough curry for my rice. Also when I get these same two things at racha noodle my total is 8 dollars cheaper. read more

The company I work for ordered lunch from Thai House today. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and repeated my order back to me to confirm everything was correct. I went to pick it up and it was done within 15 minutes of ordering, which is very good since it was a large order. After I got back to the office, Ann called me and told me she forgot to put one of the appetizers in the bag. She offered to bring them to our office and apologized. That is going above and beyond and was so nice and unexpected. We all enjoyed our food. I had the Pad See Ew and it was saucy and delicious. We wanted to love this place but to many things went wrong. Im sorry to say, the food was good, not great. First, I was brought out a glass of wine that had went bad, they replaced it but they must not store it properly, 2nd, the lady taking our order just took off mid order and went to answer the phone and help someone at the front, I had to flag her down and tell her we weren't done ordering, she said she would bring us some water which we never got, 3rd our sushi came out first but my husband's noodle dish didn't come out till we were almost done with our sushi which made for an awkward wait as I was already done. The ambience felt cold and kind of like a cheap diner. The staff was friendly but it looked like they were short staffed and stressed out. We were driving through Redding on our way home to Oregon and ordered our food online since we would be arriving to the restaurant 20 min before closing. We arrived at 840pm to pick up our to go order. We asked if they would mind if we sat at a table to eat instead of sitting in our car and they were incredibly accommodating, bringing us waters and telling us to not feel rushed. The food was really great and we appreciated the quick 20 min break from our long drive (they did not rush us but we wanted to respect their hours). We definitely will plan on stopping for food anytime we drive through Redding and will plan on arrive earlier so we can enjoy all they have to offer! read more

For drinks, we got the Thai tea. My favorite of the food we ordered was the pad see ew, while the red curry and pho was also good. The Thai tea was made just right, not too sweet, with notable tea flavor. The portions were generous and definitely over ordered for 2, but glad we did because we brought the rest home to finish later. I know they're new, so always room for improvement. This place is amazing. We went there for dinner on Friday as a date night. The owner is very nice. And they have a brand new sushi chef from New York. He is trained in Japan for sushi and I have to say, it's the best sushi we have had ANYWHERE in the north state. We also ALWAYS order the pumpkin curry it is to die for! The egg rolls here are always perfectly crispy and crunchy. We also tried their poke bowl and it was so delicious and spicy. The presentation of the sushi was absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean, and the staff make sure you have the best experience and love the food. Also, we tried the miso soup and it was made with real miso paste. Went for the first time yesterday for a late lunch. We have lived here in Redding for over a year, and have not quite found a favorite Thai eatery. That all changed yesterday. From the moment we walked into this clean, appropriately decorated Thai House we had high hopes, and were not disappointed. The noodles were the best I've ever had, so soft and saucy, the right amount of veg and the most tender slices of chicken. The presentation of all of our dishes was clean and stylish, fancy even! Cashews in the cashew chicken dish were perfect, I've had soft cashews elsewhere, but not here! Fresh, crunchy just as they should be. I love that they have hoisin sauce on the table, too! My parents had the Mongolian Beef and the Egg Foo Yung, both were very impressed with the portions and value. Prices here are very affordable. I can tell the owner spent a lot of money on updating the building inside and out, landscaping and parking lot have also had major improvements since the last restaurant was here.
