Options here are few and far between, and Fifty-Fifty clearly leads the pack in quality and overall curation of the pieces available. Ya, it's small, and ya, you might not find something every time, but Fifty-Fifty is unrivaled in my book as the best vintage shop in this city. Only downside to this place is if you don't speak…read moreczech you can sometimes miss sales or special discounts going on, such as: 1) At the end of every season they put the entire stock of stuff down to 20 crowns a piece until it is all gone and then they put out the new seasons items 2) If you bring your receipt from a previous time they will give you 10% off your total EVERY time (even during a sale) 3) A bag to take your goodies home will cost you a few crowns. Bring your own. The atmosphere is bright, clean and spacious with tons of things to choose from. The staff is very nice and helpful, sometimes even speaking a very little bit of english. Prices normally are not that bad at all, but for good deals wait until some sort of sale is going on.

Prague Thrift is small, but things are tucked in everywhere. I ended up getting a like new Zella athletic top, women's in-line skates, helmet and wrist guards. The employee went out of his way to help me examine the condition of skates ( they were excellent) and even suggested places to use them. There was the feeling that expats donated their things here when they left Prague. Some nice small kitchen appliances, English language guidebooks, novels, and kids books. Random sports equipment like a rugby ball, rackets, and even a folding exercise bike. There was a nice room dedicated to children's things. Men's and women's clothing was organized well. There were lots of shoes, purses, bags, some luggage too. It got a little busy on Saturday in the hour before closing time. There is a high demand fitting room there as well. Overall, I am very happy to have made my way over using the #16 tram. I could see why so many customers felt like regulars.

The store is extremely close to the flora metro/tram stop (literally across the street form the mall on the corner) which I love since its less walking to find it. It is also very well lit inside, well organized and always has some type of sales bins towards the front in case you are on a super low budget. This place is already pretty cheap though so not sure how poor you would have to be... Their pricing is the variable here. They weigh all your items that are priced by pound, so the lighter your items are, the cheaper of a deal you usually get. If you want jeans or a jacket you can still sometimes find good deals here if its made of a lighter material. You can also wait as they weigh your items to decide if you think they are worth the price, if not you can always say ne. Last time I went here I got two dresses for 80 czk and they were both brand name, Jen calls that a steal. I will most likely go back here due to the nice staff and large selection.
