I heard about this practice through a friend who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He told me that she was friendly and young which made me a little doubtful at first. But all fear fled as I left her office the first time. Dr. Harbison is competent and thorough. I went in just to get a second opinion on a disorder I have been dealing with for years only to find that there is significantly more going on in my body that no other doctor cared to look for. She sent me for several tests after my first visit and has followed up with me about the results promptly. Though it is a little nerve racking to hear things may be seriously wrong with me, I believe that I am in good hands now for the first time in my life. I absolutely recommend this practice. If you suspect something may be wrong with you, Dr. Harbison will take your concerns seriously and help find ways to get you feeling better. So happy I found her.

The parking garage is pitch black dark. The staff knew this and did not have the decency or courtesy to tell me this, a new patient. Had I known I could have made other arrangements!!! Never had a chance to see the doctor as I parked on the street, Fannin, and canceled my appointment. So disappointed in the inefficiency and unprofessionalism of the staff.

When I started with him my diabetes wasn't very controlled and my Dr at the time wasn't listening, had little useful advise, and simply wanted to increase my dosage of meds. Dr Splenser actually LISTENED to my situation and after accessing a variety of factors unique to me completely changed my medication approach. Over the past several years we've continued to evolve my medication and treatment plan as my condition has evolced. Dr Splenser is ahead of the curve when it comes to emerging glucose monitoring technology, I was using FreeStyle Libre before it was on TV...new medication. He keeps me ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest and best approaches to treatment. My pharmacist has even remarked that my Endo " really knows his stuff" based on the continued evolution of my treatment plan but most importantly he keeps me focused on my numbers and my progress. I have to take a little credit...I've worked my ass off when it comes to diet and fitness but Dr Splenser has been a great Guide and Partner on my Diabetic journey. He listens, treats each patients situation individually, works to find the best solution and brings a great approachable personality to the table as well. I'd highly recommend him.

This was my first time here but I saw a previous doctor from another practice. I've seen Dr. Juarez…read morein Friendswood a few years ago. When she moved to the medical center, that was just a little far from where I live and work. Having thyroid issues recently and not feeling comfortable with just any doctor, I decided to see Dr. Juarez again. I'm so glad I did! Dr. Juarez is so compassionate, friendly, and takes the time to go over everything. I feel so comfortable with her and I would recommend her to anyone! I parked next door and took the elevator to the sky bridge. I had to walk down the hall to take the escalator down then around the corner to another set of elevators to take me to the 22 floor. I did notice that I could have valeted right in front of where I needed to be. I might do that next time. But the walk from the garage was not bad at all. Took all of 4 minutes. When you arrive you sign in at an "iPad station". Then you swipe your credit card for your co-pay. The nurse/aid was pretty friendly. I had a 2:30 appointment and arrived at 2. I was seen right at 2:30.

I took time off work specifically for bloodwork, only to later find out the staff never sent the order to the lab. This resulted in wasted PTO, wasted gas, and a completely unnecessary trip. When this issue was brought up, the staff showed no concern or accountability. There was no apology and no sense that my time mattered. It is disappointing that such a great doctor is supported by staff who are careless and indifferent. The lack of follow through and basic respect for patients' time makes this office very frustrating to deal with.

I had been struggling with my thyroid issues (weight gain, exhaustion, etc), and I'm finally finding relief with Dr. Boccalandro. She took me off of my old, generic medication and put me onto a new one that has worked so much better. She also doesn't go strictly off of my labs -- she's been going off of my symptoms combined with the lab work. I like that she takes time to educate you on why she runs certain labs. She will also send you to a lab ahead of time (a lab in the neighborhood/area of your choosing) so when you get in for the visits she's looking at your most recent labs, and you're not having to go to an appointment, then get labs done, then come BACK for your results. Nope -- you can get a real visit done the first time. Her Nurse Practitioner, Rhea, is AWESOME. I just love her. Her bedside demeanor is really wonderful. I'm a big fan of her as well. If you can't get in to see Dr. Boccalandro, get an appointment with Rhea first. It can take awhile to get in with her. So plan for that.

In June 2025, I agreed to complete a new thyroid ablation procedure and it went well. I was told it was imperative I follow up with 3 separate ultrasounds after the procedure to ensure all went well and nothing was wrong. On my first follow up visit I was told I owed over $400. I had already paid my balance of $1000 after the EOB was completed so I was unsure as to what this particular amount was for. Well after being told I could not see Dr. Boccalandro nor complete the mandatory 1st ultrasound until the balance was paid, I contacted my insurance. They informed me that balance was not my responsibility and the $1000 I had already paid was all I owed. After informing the office manager, Maurilio Araujo, I didn't owe that amount and letting him speak with my insurance over the phone, I was still denied being seen by Dr. Boccalandro!! He told me they have to contact their outside financial department to get the due amount deleted, but in the meantime Dr. Boccalandro refused to see me until this payment was settled! (mine you I live in Spring) I couldn't believe it! This proved they cared nothing about the well being of their patients until they get "their money!" Even after my insurance said I was not responsible for any other payments due! Now it has been 3 months since the thyroid procedure and I still haven't had the "very important" thyroid ultrasound to ensure my health is intact. I'm still waiting to receive a call on the $400 that is an error in their billing and NOT money I owe; the office refused to recognize that and refused to see me as a patient. I'm very disappointed with Dr. Boccalandro and her office staff (Maurilio) because patients health is less important than them receiving their funds. It's unprofessional. I will be changing physicians and in the meantime praying my thyroids that the ablation removed is okay and healing because I have yet to be able to follow up. Very sad because up until this issue I thought she was a caring and professional physician.
