It has limited hours, but we had some frozen cappucinos and they were pretty delicious. I think this is one of the only places in town that serves espresso drinks, to give y'all some fair warning. Another thing that was useful was that I was able to pick up a cell phone signal & 3G at that in the soda fountain area. So if you find yourself without a signal, but wanting to check in on Yelp, check out that area for a good signal. Definitely a place worth visiting in Knox City.

The burger was thick and juicy topped with cheddar cheese and a good amount of condiments (lettuce, tomato, onion). This was a very good burger, one of the best I have eaten in quite some time. The jalopeno/cheese bun was excellent and I would have eaten it alone as a roll it was so good. I ended up leaving, glad that the pizza joint across the street had been closed. Every time I turned around he was behind me very trying desperately to look busy and inconspicuous. I decided to ignore this. I knew the store was close to closing, so I made my way toward the exit because there were items I saw earlier that I wanted to buy. I barely got down the stairs and I was confronted by a very exasperated, large, older woman who rudely snipped at me that they were closed. There was no prior warning they were about to close. Regardless, they actually were not closed, it was 3:50 PM and they close at 4 PM. She then referred to the man upstairs who was following me, so clearly they were in communication. I calmly asked for clarification about their hours and she did not answer me and stormed away in a huff. Very nasty behavior. I decided to leave and not buy the items I had been eyeing, as clearly I wasn't welcome. She tried, rather pathetically, to salvage the situation and told me, "You'll be back!" and to have a good day as I walked out. Unfortunately for the "family" that runs this place, I will not be back. I guess all families have their problems though. Interestingly, other than the cat odor, previous negative reviews on other platforms share a similar theme of the "family" being rude, impolite, unhelpful and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this appears to be a pattern. My specific experience was so bizarre and inexplicable that, as a black person, one has to wonder if there was a racial component. The older woman said something about being hot and wanting to go home but her male colleague followed me (and no other customers) around the store for 45 minutes because he was hot? And wanted to go home? Then she ambushed me at the bottom of the stairs with no prior warning about closing, berated me, then kicked me out. Very curious. Disappointing to say the least. If the owners want their store to be welcoming to all people then they need to do much better, otherwise, black people should avoid this place.
