So I've been curious about this place ever since I noticed it on the Texas horizon near Weatherford. Fast forward many years and a Facebook post for "Christmas at the Castle" comes across my feed. I'll put that info below my review. So what is the Pythian Home? The Texas Pythian Home provides a safe, stable environment for the children of Texas, and his their first priority. They have served Texas families in need since 1909. On this day there was a tour, 2 floors of arts and crafts, and even food vendors out back. It was fun and interesting. Although the event shuts down at 6pm, the Castle is lit up at night with holiday lights. See the URL for more info. When will we start lighting the Castle at night: A) Right after Thanksgiving, we have already begun the process of getting them working!!! Do we need to bring money: A) If you plan to shop or take a picture with Santa, you will need money. It does not cost anything to come and take a tour though.
