That's when you have to look elsewhere for better service. That is what I suggest you do as well. American National Insurance is not a bad company but rates are higher than at most competitors. I asked them to text, call office, home, cell, or even contact us through social media. They said they would the last time this happened. They could only set up monthly pay with an extra charge per month. They promised they would contact us, but did not. I have had no home insurance for three months. I have been trying to contact them now or any other American National agent for a week. All agents in Houston take off for a few weeks at this time, regardless of the needs of their customers. Time to go elsewhere.
