Tex Best is a very nice and brand new travel center / truck stop on the corner of 107 and La Blanca Road in La Blanca, TX. La Blanca is a tiny community east of Edinburg and north of Donna, TX. This is now the best gas station, convenience store, travel center and truck stop on 107 in between I-69C and I-69E. Tex Best has clean bathrooms which are styled like the famous ones where the mascot is a beaver, but less numerous. Still, plenty, and well designed for privacy. Tex Best has many food options, both hot and cold, at competitive prices. I tried their breakfast tacos, and they're pretty good. They also have all the pre-packaged commercial snacks, chips, sweets, etc. I was there between breakfast and lunchtime, so I saw items from both breakfast and lunch menus. The carne guiadas looked really good. I like their coffee machine that grinds the beans of your choice just prior to brewing. Of course they have all the fountain drinks, bottled drinks, ice, and the rest. Thy also have some souvenirs and knick knacks for sale. There are gas pumps for cars in front and diesel pumps for 18 wheelers in the back. The amount of paved parking is huge. I like Tex Best and am glad this one finally opened.
