Yeah, I didn't believe it either, but then I saw a sign in their vineyard that proved me wrong. It read: "Water into Wine" And now, I'm a believer! So what brought us to this magical place you ask?? Yeah, we were staying at the Ava Hotel in Paso for my wife's birthday weekend (definitely check this place out if you are looking for a beautiful spot to call home away from home) And being that we were in wine country.... We wanted a nice outdoor vineyard where our kids could be outside, run around, and get all of their energy out all while Mommy & Daddy had our own little R&R time sippin' on the good stuff. So in order not to ruin the good vibes of the beautiful vino from Sculpterra, I opted for just one taco and a cup of their poblano soup and man was it fire. The soup was piping hot and it had a kick of spice that made me spice from ear to ear. As far as the wine, the vineyards vibe and the entire aesthetic of the grounds, Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Gardens (the vineyard was adorned with many abstract and contemporary pieces that are all photo worthy), this place checks all the boxes. The place is kid friendly as there is plenty of space, both indoors and out, with areas for the kids to throw a ball, run around, or even learn to play a g as a game of chess. As I was chatting with other guests in the hot tub none of them know about those services either and they were not offered. So, if the hotel doesn't plan to give them to the guests the should pull it off from the website. The people who work here are pretty nice. The park like setting is also a plus. Hauling your luggage to the second floor is something else. I packed light so it's not a problem for me but I see other guest struggled. They offer pick up service if you come via public transport.
