I had a traditional corn soup, while my local friend and host had something more on the decadent side. Naturally, I had to keep up and ordered an ice cream sundae layered with amazing corn cake. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, and the staff are friendly. Aaaand my diet has yet to recover. Pepelote is more a snack or dessert style place than somewhere to get a meal, but it will fill you up anyway.
