I was in desperate need for a facial and found a deal on Groupon so I decided to try it. This spa sits off Old Milton Parkway in an office complex not too far from 400. I believe the spa shares office space with a chiropractor. When you walk in, it doesn't have a spa feel to it. The aesthetician Esther ushered me to the spa room pretty quickly. I filled out a form while she stood and waited on me. The first half of the facial felt like of hurried. Even her motions were quick and not really soothing. The extractions hurt, but they always do feel kind of sharp. She doesn't tell you what she's about to do ever so you just kind of have to guess, other than she did mention a mask she was doing. When she gave me a massage on my neck and a little shoulders, it actually wasn't relaxing at all. I had to ask her to lighten up. Apparently I was tight, so that didn't help, but overall I just didn't feel relaxed and pampered so much. When I left and checked myself in the mirror, I realized there was a big smear of lotion still on my forehead. Glad I caught that. Just not a superb experience but my skin definitely felt better and moisturized. read more

Purchased Groupon packages for myself and a friend. I have called the spa multiple times, I have tried to reach out online as well as voicemail. No one ever got back to me so I had to get my purchase refunded. Spent about two weeks trying to get in touch with them. Very unfortunate, we were looking forward to the spa pampering. read more

My boyfriend found her off of Groupon. He set up an appointment for me to surprise me and he said that she was really nice and helpful about the whole thing. I really enjoyed the Spa Pampering package, the essential oils and hot stones were extremely relaxing. I will definitely be coming back to her in the near future. The location is somewhat difficult to find for first timers because the sign that says Terra Nova is very small. The actual sign that was hung up only says Massage. I walked in 15 minutes early from my appointment. As it was my first time it was very awkward because there was no one in the front and everything seem to indicate that this was a chiropractor office. It was a good while before someone came out from one of the rooms and said that Terra Nova is just one room inside the Chiropractor's office. Ester works alone so when she is in with a client there is really no one to greet you. It would have been nice to have a sign somewhere to explain this since it didn't look like there was is someone in the front all the time for Chiro as well. Besides that, the facial in itself was nice, although there was many a long break while I assume she was preparing more towels and was readjusting equipment. read more

I've experienced numerous massages from therapists over the past 15 years and Esther is hands down THE most skilled massage therapist I've ever been to. So far I've received both a 60 minute Swedish Massage and a 90 minute Hot Stone massage from her and could not be more impressed with the service I've been given. She is very kind, caring & communicative, the atmosphere is soothing, and the pressure she applies is ON POINT. In other circumstances I usually have to ask for more pressure or just lay there hoping the massage therapist asks but as soon as Esther started working on me I knew this wouldn't be the case with her. I found her technique to be unique in the way that she mixes deep tissue and swedish massage throughout as well. Also, let me just say that the 90 minute Hot Stone Massage was quite literally THE BEST most relaxing 90 minutes of my entire life, who knew rocks could add so much more to your massage experience!? It was seriously heavenly. I walked back to my car with my muscles feeling more loose and relaxed than I can ever remember them being and the soreness/tension I had arrived with in my legs and shoulders was completely alleviated. I cannot recommend this place enough, I am one happy & satisfied repeat customer :) read more

I was looking for a place to get a facial once in a while, and bought this package of 3 anti-aging facials from Groupon. I've had 2 sessions so far with Esther and enjoyed both times - an hour of quiet and relaxation on a Saturday morning :) I'm not sure what all the many layers of cleanser, mask, lotion, etc. were applied, but they left my skin feeling smooth and fresh. I also liked the mini massage performed on my neck and shoulder. I'm looking forward to trying other services that Esther offers, such as foot & body massage. read more
