Terra 28th is a park in the Fort that is open for all, and it features a lot of open space for multiple activities. The last event that was held here was a small food bazaar, which featured local chefs and their delicacies for anyone to try. If there are no events, the open space is usually occupied by small groups of people, usually enjoying the sun and just hanging out with some food and music. If you have kids, there are small areas within this park that encourage a few Filipino playground sports, which try to teach the new generation of kids to get away from their electronic devices, and sweat a little bit.
The track layout here is rectangular, which is good for runners who want an even surface for their practice. It's also much easier to track your progress on a path like this, especially when your running app relies on GPS.
Overall, this area of the Fort is a great example of creating a balance of nature with urban life, by giving a lot of greenery and a place for people to simply enjoy nature (or at least get as close to it as possible when living in a very urban city). read more
