What i got was a blended drink, but it was from a dispenser, something that is already premade. It's not the biggest deal, but kinda changes your decision making if that was how it is. The drink itself was just okay, with whipped cream and sprinkles on top.

El Centro is an eclectic mix of places that showcase the modern and the avant-garde, and places…read morethat respect history and tradition. Nevería Galy falls under the latter category. They only sell 2 things here: mantecado and nieve de limón. Both are excellent and have been made the same way since they opened decades ago. They both are delicious examples of tradition and why Mexican gastronomy is full of magic in every little bite. The mantecado is nutty, sweet, fruity, and has a great creamy and buttery texture. The nieve is just as amazing, the natural acidity and sweetness of the key lime comes through in a wonderful way, and is a great treat to stay fresh in the hot Queretaran summers. You can also add coke, sparkling water, or red wine to the nieves to make it into a float. This is another favorite of mine. I never leave Querétaro without going to this place at least once. I'll keep coming back as long as they remain open, hopefully for another 40 years and more!

Out of the many Michoacanas that offer aguas frescas, paletas, and ice cream, this location offers the best variety and taste among its peers. Their best frozen treats are their paletas, and I, being a paleta de Arroz addict, have never tried one as good as the many I've had here. The paleta de Piñon is also delectable, creamy, distinctively nutty, with a slight crunch, and a beautiful tone of pink. If there was ever a Michoacana I would recommend, it would be this one for sure. Try for yourself!
