The tacos we had were delicious, unique and the ingredients were super fresh. This included jerk chicken, barbacoa and shrimp tacos with great sauces on each. We just moved to the Miller Beach area and tried this restaurant for the first time last night.....it was wonderful! We tried 4 different kinds of tacos and the the guacamole/salsa combo with the most unbelievable homemade tortilla chips! One was better than the next! Came here around 6:35 not very crowded (22 people)so we got to pick our own table...Glad we came when we did because it began to get crowded....The inside is very nicely done love the maps above the main windows...Our waiter was very nice and attentive (Kendell)..Everything you order as individuals...I ordered a Shrimp Taco, and a Steak Taco,my other half ordered a Shrimp Taco and a Pulled Pork Taco... We both ordered drinks Mexican Moscow Mule and When are We Leaving drink both very good...Right before our meal came our waiter came to our table and gave us a Margarita (Strawberry /Mango with 1800) on the house very nice!!!...Our food came exactly as ordered, the shrimp were a nice size...The steak was nice and tender, I had the sauce on the side (Cilantro Chimchirri), though I didn't put it on my taco it did have a good taste to it...I will plan on returning here for sure...there is outdoor seating but due to my time of the year of being here that wasn't an option or something I wanted to try...Two people one drink each and 4 Tacos $36.92...priceless... read more

Went there for the first time and was not disappointed. I had a steak taco, a jerk chicken taco, and their chicken taco with a side of cilantro lime rice. All was quite delicious and flavorful plus the drinks was on point. The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was great. Tacos is their specialty. They have perfected the art and food science of taco making. They're amazing. The finest tacos I've ever had. We had the salmon, jerk chicken and steak tacos. My favorite was the steak. Others in our party raved about the salmon. The vibe of the place is very cool and contemporary while being comfortable in the older structure. It's been beautifully restored. Kendall was our server. His warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel appreciated. His thoughtful and anticipatory service was exemplary. Love at first bite! To start the restaurant is just my vibe. The look is amazing the staff was awesome. Now down to why I came the food and drinks. I had the TNT margarita (delicioso). The taco salad with barbacoa was so flavorful a complete party in your mouth! I thought it was reasonable for the portions and quality! I drove from Chicago to meet family members from out-of-town on Saturday evening. There were 8 of us - including a baby - being served by Bree. She was actually a good server. Four of us received our appetizers of chips with guacamole and salsa. The freshly fried chips were good, but we had to add salt to the salsa and bland guacamole. My sister wanted to order a frozen margarita but was told the bartender was not making them because she was working solo in the busy restaurant. Once our other family members arrived, they ordered the wings and described them as "okay". We then ordered a total of 10 tacos. While waiting for our food, someone else's order of two tacos and rice was brought to our table. Bree realized the mistake after a couple of minutes and came to take it away. After about 40 minutes of waiting for our food, we cancelled our orders. We then had to wait at least another 10-15 minutes for our checks. The manager came over to ask how things were at which time we told him we never got our dinners. He apologized and told us one of the cooks did not show up. The artwork was nice and the place is popular, but the ability to get the food served in a reasonable amount of time is what is most important. T and T failed miserably. read more

Ive been here three times and the food and drinks are amazing but today I cannot comment on the food or drinks. Let me paint the picture for you. 1 bartender 2 waitress 4 ppl at the bar 2 people by the front window I come in ...there was no greeting I sat down...there was no service I waited over 10mins and not one person ask me if i was waiting for someone, do i want to see a menu, offer water or even come to the table. The phone would ring & ring. When they did answer the put you on hold. So I made a trip up there little busy. Took give minutes for anyone to acknowledge me at the bar. Eventually heard someone say they had been waiting for two hours. I finally got the waitress attention and asked how long was the wait to just order. We loved this place!! Super chill environment with a nice warm feel to it. When they say Tequila and Tacos, they mean it! Each person in our party had different type of taco, and everyone loved them! Honestly, one of the best tacos I have ever had! The service was excellent. Our waitress, Brittany, was very attentive and almost felt like a friend before we left. The owner, Sam, also came out to chat and seemed like an awesome guy. The drinks were delicious, and a good bang for your buck! Overall, we loved this place so much. First of all, the service at this place is TERRIBLE. The servers are slow. They did not bring our chips and guacamole until our food was brought out. It was extremely overpriced for what you get. This has the quality of Qudoba. I felt trapped there with the unbelievably loud music. They are just doing their best but it doesn't mean you have to spend your money here. read more

Service was awesome, staff was very attentive, and food was absolutely AMAZING! The barbacoa and jerk tacos are out of this world. Presentation was beautiful. After finishing our meal, the owner came over to our table, shook our hands, thanked us for coming in, and wanted to make sure our meal and service was nothing short of perfect. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon based on the good reviews on Yelp. We were driving from Chicago to Valparaiso and my husband was skeptical but I was hungry and tacos sounded good to me. It was quiet when we walked in, only a couple other folks. I asked the waitress for recommendations and decided to try the steak taco and the vegetarian. They were delicious!! Washed them down with the housemade lemonade since they didn't have iced tea. My husband had the barbacoa and said it was excellent. We had the nicest server...so friendly. My friends and I are from Chicago and were in the area, we thought we would give this place a try but big mistake. Atmosphere was nice and we sat at a table where the waitress greeted us with water. We decided to come here because of the good reviews and were excited to try the food. The place was not packed at all, there was one table of 2 inside and one that was on the patio but that was about it. We waited 30 mins and the waitress never came to take our order, instead another table walked in and were greeted right away. Another group walked in and the same thing, they took everyone else's order but never even came to our table AT ALL! Now I have worked in hospitality for 7 years and this is not the kind of service you want for your business. The fact that the three girls didn't even acknowledge us or anything was very unprofessional & extremely rude. Even when we got up to leave one girl just looked at us gave us a little face like she was annoyed and we walked right out. Are you kidding me?! The one who should be annoyed is us because we waited almost an hour and no one even cared. I suggest working on your staff before they run your business to the ground. read more

Our experience was horrible. This place is not kid friendly and the service was so slow. It took 10 minutes after we sat down just to get water! They charge you for the chips and salsa. We ordered the guacamole as well and asked for more chips to finish the guacamole which was an extra charge. We had to ask for water and pop refills as well as utensils to eat our meals. The tacos were good but I've had better. It was so bad that part of our group didn't end up eating their meal and went to McDonald's afterwards.
