We dropped in the venue which has been opened since 2 months in Acıbadem to try the menu. Although we were not noodle lovers so much. The venue had a L shaped plan. After passed a narrow corridor left side of which covered with tables you can arrive open kitchen section where was a wider area. Your orders were preparing in a fast and fresh way in here. This, increases the taste; inspite of decrease the speed of serving.
The pictures located in the corridor wall were interesting and thought-provoking. The paintings of some celebrities in front of the tables were different and funny. So, the venue having a small usage area became attracting with these kind of studies. I could say the decoration and atmosphere were nice in this meaning. Open kitchen was a successful practice in respect of hygiene and watching the preparation of foods.
We tried the only soup kind, spicy-sour soup as starter. It was the most famous taste of the venue. It consisted carrot, soybean sprouts, white cabbage, zucchini, chicken and egg. It had a dense consistency and taste. It was completely a winter soup and great taste for sour lovers. We loved it so much. We ordered Gyoza -Japanese ravioli- as second course. The stuffing ingredients were ample and delicious. The sauce serving with it was also successful. They served one piece of falafel as offering. I do not like falafel so much but it was successful with mint yoghurt and spicy sauce. If they ask me to choose betwwen them; I would prefer the former two plates.
We preferred two different noodles; beef and shrimp noodle. Its taste was successful due to the adding of fresh vegetables. The quantity of vegatables was ample. The shrimps in the shrimp noodle were fresh not frozen. So, its taste was perfect of course. Unfortunately I did not like the beef noodle plate. The thin piece of meat was dried and lost its taste because of over cooking. You should warn about cooking when you give order. The boiled soybean, edamame was a sufficient plate in respect of taste and consistency. We thought to order churro as dessert. It was in the menu but they could not serve it for now. We ordered the only dessert kind, fried icecream with pistachio substituted for it. It was also successful in respect of portion and taste.
In conclusion the venue was on the right way about the foods preparing in a fast way and as fresh. If they keep up on this way I am sure they will be long-termed. All tastes were sufficient and successful except beef noodle. According to me the spicy-sour soup and shrimp noodle were the most successful plates. We paid for 81 TL in total. It was an affordable price. It is a venue that I will drop by anytime it suitable for me in Asian side . #KanGurular read more
