Had Terry come out for estimate to replace the valve to the gas connection in our fireplace. The…read morefollowing day he knocked out the brick, found replacement brick and replaced the bad valve with a (supposedly) new one. He was paid. We ordered gas logs with installation from a local business who tested the valve for leaks after the logs were set. Using two separate pressure instruments he determined there was in a fact a small leak and suggested we not use the fireplace until the leak was corrected. I called Terry and advised him of the findings. He said he tested the connection for leaks and there were none. We never saw him test for leaks only for the gas pipe inside the fireplace. He said he would come out the following evening. He never showed. He never called nor did he text. Extremely shoddy service. I had to call our plumber to come work with the valve and he stated it was not new...as I see it, Terry owes us for the plumbing bill.
