But I wanted to give it another go cause I'm tired of filling in my brows everyday. In the before photo, you can see how the ink was faded and you can see my natural hair again, along with the red tint from the previous job. So I decided why not try again with someone more experienced. Jessika did my brows and it was comfortable, almost painless, I could have fallen asleep. (I fall asleep when she does my lashes) I asked for a more natural look than the bold design I had before. It's just a personal preference for a subtle brow for me....and she executed it perfectly! She did a color correction, reshaped them to fit my eyes and shape of face better. I forgot to save a freshly done pic :( but here's the end result! 3-4 weeks healed. I had an angular lob that had grown out, so all I wanted was a trim in order to even out the ends and bring the length up to touch my shoulders. I told Carol that I had existing layers, but I didn't want the layers to go too high on my head because I wear my hair naturally curly. I even showed her a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with a mullet with one side longer than the other. Carol kept saying my thick hair needed to be thinned out, so she created 2 inch layers that encircled my entire head. I cannot even side part my hair because the layers are so short and they stick straight up when I try to do that. I would think that creating short layers makes thick, curly hair appear thicker, so I don't know why she did that. I went back and had it fixed by Kathy, who was absolutely wonderful. I do not recommend Carol for curly or thick hair. She just graduated from hair school and needs more training. I feel she should have declined to cut my hair if she didn't know how to cut curly hair. I'm still rating the salon as 4 stars because I had a great experience in the past with Michelle and Kathy did an amazing job making Carol's work into an actual bob
