ZERO STARS When you make an appointment, the company will NOT tell you what they charge for the labor rate up front. So the company is hoping that you are stupid enough to assume Blanchard's Plumbing is a fair company. They told me, "It is the customer's responsibility to ask about the labor cost". So, if you assume they are a fair price, which I mistakenly thought, you will be wrong. They are an OVERPRICED company and NOT WORTH your time or money dealing with Blanchard's plumbing. The company purposely does not divulge info up front, because they know you will just hang up the phone. Check their work BEFORE they leave your house. The company hires people with NO EXPERIENCE, TRAINEES, who will come to your house. They said one person is for liability purposes. So I pay for two people's labor charges? Even though ONLY one person was working, while the other person just watching the whole time, doing nothing ! Again, like a fool, I did not check the quality of their work before they left the house. However, I paid for their time and labor I see replies to this message from people who said, years ago they were satisfied with Blanchard's quality and price. If that is true, then I am happy for you. Maybe others were satisfied in the past, but maybe times have changed. And maybe the company has gone downhill from all the negative reviews from Blanchard's Plumbing." I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with them When I called them to make an appointment, I specifically told them on the phone, "I need your BEST people in the company to come to the house." I said , "I want THE "A" Team" to come over" They told me on the phone, "We will send the best people over to your house." Remember, this was the simplest of all plumbing jobs, just to install 3 simple "Fill Values" for the 3 toilets, which ended up NEVER working. Snake a bathtub, which was successful, but should have taken just 7 minutes They were in my house for TWO (2) Hours , "Milking The CLOCK " I gave Blanchard Plumbing every opportunity to correct the issue the next day. After this experience with Blanchard Plumbing, I did not want to waste time on the phone calling them about the quality and price. I went back to visit Blanchard Plumbing IN PERSON, I kindly asked them, "Could you come back to the house and fix this simple issue of the Fill Value?" Their response to me was hostile and gaslighting. They rudely said, "We do NOT guarantee our work." I had to hire another plumber to correct the issue with the three toilets. I could not have been nicer to these people. But now I am thinking, "Are you kidding me?" Of course, you do NOT guarantee your work, because you are not sure whether the workers will do a good job. I'm sure many years ago, Mr. Blanchard did quality work at a fair price in the past. But like I say, times have changed and gone downhill. Matthew's Plumbing has done some work for us before, a PRV and a water heater replacement. I had…read morethem come today to check for a leak which I was pretty sure didn't exist. The city of Raleigh refuses to check their water meter or replace it without an invoice from a plumber. Our water bill was higher than usual the last few months. I did a toilet leak test and found no leaks. Nothing else on the property showed a leak. I called the water department and they were less than helpful. Despite our bill going DOWN after turning ON our sprinkler system, they insisted there was a leak. Matthew's Plumbing sent two guys out who listened to the story, checked the meter as I did, checked the crawl space (no leaks) and listened to me complain about the water department. I was expecting to pay $200+, instead they only charged me $75. These people are honest. I was upset enough that I would have paid the $200 or more had they asked me to do so. Today's visit is why I'll keep doing business with them.

I have nothing but great things to say about Tim Leonard and Household 360. I hired Tim to replace…read moremy plumbing in my house. It was Polybutylene and failing. Tim sat down with us, listened to what we wanted, brought in his crew and went to work. They started the day they said and worked continuously, meticulously replacing every piece. Tim even replaced PEX that was in the garage because he wanted it all to be done. He also added a shut off valve that wasn't there before. I was so impressed that I had him remodel 2 full baths and replace a tub surround in my upstairs bath. All of it looks awesome. He uses quality components (Delta and Kohler). Both remodeled baths were a complete tear out, I removed the tub in one and converted it to a shower only with a seat. The master bath, Tim suggested we could actually increase the shower size by tearing out the surround, removing a small wall, and putting a custom shower with a seat as well (for my wife). He also tore out the useless garden tub and replaced it with a regular tub with a low step over. Everything came out awesome! He didn't quit, worked to ensure I'd be satisfied and listened to what I wanted, delivered it! I never once had to chase him down to get work done, it just happens, even came in under budget! He also has a really good list of quality contractors for the things he doesn't do himself. I went with ceramic tile and all of it looks so good. The drywall repair also done very well, repaired, painted and finished. I hired that crew for additional work (popcorn ceiling and wall paper removal) beyond what Tim had them doing. I couldn't be happier! I am an avid DIY'er and a fanatic about doing it exactly right. This was the first time I hired someone for this kind of work. I will hire him again and again when I need something. I highly recommend Tim Leonard and Household 360. Thank you Tim.
