A fascinating 'cabinet of curiosity' of a shop. This wonderful shop sells both interesting antique items and contemporary design items. The look of the store reminds one of a natural history museum / curio shop and you are led visually from one room to another by the fabulous displays. It's a feast for all the senses. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, even offering me coffee while I browsed. It's not a place for finding bargains, but quality 'finds' don't come cheap and when the shopping experience is this good you feel more comfortable parting with your money for something worthwhile. Great for special gifts, precious items for the home and curious talking-points. Whilst this type of store might be more common in London or New York, in Milan it is a rare if not unique discovery indeed! This space is only temporary (until April 2016) but RAW has two smaller stores in Milan, so if you miss this opportunity, don't despair! read more

(that and the high prices of some of their stuff - especially furniture and lamps) It develops in 3 floors, the underground one being the largest with corridors and steps (watch out!) bringing you from room to room. Among the brands they have for home decor: Seletti, Joseph & Joseph, Le Creuset, KitchenAid and many, many more.

As a tourist in Milan my friends and I were looking for a place to explore fabulous, well curated home items. Cargo & High Tech blew us away. It's easy to get lost in the store as it's spread across several buildings over two floors - which makes it fun to explore and discover all the great product. Plan on spending a good hour or so here when you visit - you won't be disappointed!
