Rabbi Rachel invited the community to attend some classes at Temple Beth Tefilloh. My class on mystics was well attended by many Christians, including me. We were welcomed and treated respectfully as we shared various beliefs. This class was the beginning of my interaction with the Temple. This past spring, I helped chop tomatoes for salad for the Jewish festival. It was heartwarming to see so many people attend the festival to learn about and eat Jewish food. I love this congregation! It has been such a joy to be a part of this historical congregation. My two boys went through religious school here, had their bar mitzvahs and confirmations here. And they still participate in services. We now have a resident rabbi (Rachael Bregman) and she has helped us to develop a wonderful relationship with area churches and our community at large.
