Still terrific though. As was the tom yum and the tamarind beef. Even the Thai iced tea and ice cream were flavored with tamarind. The place is nicely decorated and the staff are attentive. The restaurant is a bit difficult to find without a smartphone but be patient and you'll be rewarded.

We chose a dish with the restaurant's namesake as supporting ingredient. The chicken stew was served with rice, tutu de feijão (bean paste), angu, and couve vegetables.
