The screen was a bit small for my taste - when sitting on row 10, which is in the middle, it felt like watching a 80 inch TV. I will definitely sit closer to the screen next time. The men's toilets on the balcony level were surprisingly few! One stall plus one real toilet. Not really what I would have expected for a cinema which can hold several hundred people. No 3D, and even though I am tall and it had fairly good stadium seating, I was still annoyed by the head in front of me. All in all a good cinema feeling!

Everyone was super nice, both the concession gal and the ticket gal! And the patrons too! (This was especially appreciated as I was on my first ever solo travel adventure and don't speak Swedish!) Tickets are a hair cheaper than what I'm used to Paying in the states even with the krona/US dollar conversion. The first showing did sell out rather quickly and I bought the very last ticket for the second showing, even though the theaters are quite large!. (I can imagine with 3pm autumn sunsets and almost 24 hr winter darkness, movies are a popular retreat, so maybe stop by and purchase in advance during those times!) The seats were super comfy and given with numbers, as if you were seeing a play. The popcorn was fresh (served freshly popped, no butter-they don't even have any) and I was so impressed with the healthy options like salads and pressed juices that were offered, too!! The mostly popular new American releases were sub-titled in Swedish making it an easy activity for tourist! A visit here was an all around fantastic experience! By the way, I saw 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and it was outrageous, so was the actor!! (I can't wait for award season this year and the battle between him and Bradley Cooper!!) Even if you're not a fan of the music, it's definitely worth seeing and, this theater is definitely worth putting on your 'things to do while in Stockholm' list!

The previews before the film were so much shorter than the typical venues I go to in New York, so that at least cuts down the duration of time you are in the theater. Also, their bathrooms are only available to use if you have a pin code, so if you see a movie, you can find your info in the upper left of your ticket with the four digit pin that's printed on it.

It's the biggest movie theater in Stockholm and located in the heart of the city. If you're out of town, make sure to reserve seats online because movie theaters have assigned seating. The concessions were packed so good thing we picked up our own drinks and candy on the way there! The code for the bathroom is printed on the ticket but it was pretty busy so the door was always open because of the line. The theater had a balcony. There were two people that came out before the movie started to give away goodie bags for answering movie trivia questions correctly.

It was built by AMC theaters around 2000 as a well welcomed competitor to SF which pretty much run the Swedish movie scene monopoly style. The seats are huge and the equipment is still fine 10+ years post launch. Unfortunately AMC sold it to SF & it's downhill since. Still best in Stockholm though, at least til we get Imax (if ever).

They not only have the new movies but also ones that have been showing for a while. I don't always recommend going on the newest movies since they are usually full and thereby also kind of noisy. So I prefer to go to movies that's a couple of weeks old which means an almost empty hall. The halls are all big enough to offer good seats down to the first row. The sound is good, and I can't recall ever having suffered through a to-loud movie.

I took a tray on put all of the things offered... Apple juice, yoghurt w granola, a cheese and veggie sandwich (w two pieces of red bell pepper, I love red bell pepper!) and organic earl grey (either that or coffe) ... I sat down (in the theater) and ate my breakfast to the music of "sugarman" Rodriguez... It was very pleasant. Now, the movie + breakfast was 160kr, just the movie alone would have been 100 sek. I guess that the breakfast was worth 60 sek, although i thought it was a bit small, and it did not care much for the quality of the bread (I'm a bread snob). I would pay more for a larger portion, it is a weekend breakfast after all... Anyway, its a cute concept, that i recommend. The theater is cute with a vintage look, and they have a good artsy cultural repertoire.
