They insured me that the would and could have as many laborers that I needed. I needed 8 Laborers for a week. The first day only 3 showed up and they did not have work boots or gloves. The second day only 4 Laborers showed up for work. The Third night only 1 Laborer showed up for work. The Last day I requested 10 Laborers and 0 showed up. Please note that out of the 7 days that I requested Laborers there was not one day that there was not a problem with either the workers not showing up to work or the workers that did show up did not want to work. They then had the nerve to try to bill me for the Laborers that never showed up and on top of that they billed me for transportation for the Laborers that never showed up. Be prepared to be told by this office that they can supply the workers but they cannot. There Laborers that they do send do not work well. I had one laborer who left to use the rest room and never came back. I also had another laborer who showed up early to the job site and wanted to be paid a extra 3 hours for he felt that even though he was not working he still should be paid for this time. This company put me behind time. They made promise after promise and never could they get there act together. It cost me time and a lot of money.

Anyway, the owner, Mary is fantastic! I went to Barbizon in Ann Arbor, MI in the '90's and the philosophy is the same here at Mary's branch: teach young men and women how to carry themselves confidently, courteously, and with class! Teach them that they can do anything, and be anything they chose. My 10 year old daughter just started, so I'll be back to update my review after she's started full time in June. Until then, you owe it to yourself and your children to, at the very least, learn more about Barbizon, and stop in to chat with Mary about what Barbizon has to offer!

Then both Carolina and Carlos brings up a contract, never heard of such contract for house cleaning services before unless it's an office cleaning. Then first day of cleaning, he changes the pricing. Went ahead with the cleaning anyway for $200. Missed a bathroom when it was initially stated during walk thru and also discussed the same day when cleaning was scheduled. Other bathroom tub was not scrubbed clean. I could have saved myself $200 and did a better job. Carlos also made a comment about why he decided to have contracts because ppl tend to have cleaning done and not called back for recurring services. Most likely the cleaning isn't up to par. Save the trouble of using a mediocre cleaning service.

Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. During the cleaning, the crew broke my television and a utensil crock, yet the owner refused to take any responsibility for the damage. On top of that, the quality of the cleaning itself was careless and unprofessional. Wall pictures were left crooked, the attic light was left on, and the liner from my bath mat was thrown away without asking. The most alarming and unacceptable issue was that the crew left my front door wide open when they left the house. It remained open for hours until my daughter came home from work and discovered it. This is an extremely serious safety issue that never should have happened. When I contacted the owner to discuss these problems, instead of showing concern or attempting to resolve the situation, they were condescending and dismissive. There was no accountability for the broken items, the careless work, or the security risk created by leaving my home open. I had reached out for help during a very vulnerable time -- after multiple deaths in the family, losing our senior dogs, recovering from a chronic illness, and managing renovations on a second home while my primary home had been neglected. I trusted this company to help bring some relief during an already overwhelming period. Instead, the experience added more stress and frustration. If you are considering hiring this company, I strongly recommend thinking twice. Based on my experience, there was a complete lack of care, professionalism, and accountability.
