Gaunerei. Unterschlagung. Taktik der Mafia…read more
Kabel Deutschland overall, is a racket and a dishonest corporation. I'm not talking about this specific place, although I'm sure the workers are trained to screw over the customers when there is a problem.
If you quit them, keep proof of it. A receipt, a letter of confirmation. Anything. Otherwise, they will keep charging you money as if you never quit their service. They won't send a bill, they will just charge you money.
It doesn't matter how many times you tell them to cancel, how many times you write them to cancel, which takes more time and can add more fees. They will act as if you have no rights as a consumer and keep charging you money, giving the consumer the run around.
Then, to make matters better for them and worse for you, kabel doucheland will send their secret and very quiet embezzlement scheme to a collection agency without you knowing; while you're busy working hard and making a living for your family. Where two or three years later they will convene another mafia tactic by sending a "debt" notification to you for around €200-€300.
Total scam, total racket.
This tactic isn't exclusive to Kabel Deutschland. German business thrive on dishonest practices against a passive population, who are scared to question or challenge these businesses.
I'm thankful we have laws against this in America. Consumer protection isn't fully enacted here in Germany.
