I came across this store by accident while exploring the beautiful Marina Town Center Shopping Mall in Cancun. My tired old laptop has managed to last much longer than it should have, but doesn't have much time left before it goes to that New Egg in the sky, so I was in the market for a new one. The store is well-stocked with all electronics and the salespeople are helpful and available but not pushy. I found I nice latest generation D@ll (I don't want to say the name of the brand...) at a really good price, so I bought it on the spot. I wish I could remember the salesperson's name who helped me because he was very good (sorry). I also bought some other items and asked if he could have their Geek Squad set up the laptop while we shopped in the mall. They had it done by the time we got back and it's working fine. It's not often that I buy (or need to buy) electronics when traveling internationally, but this worked out great and I thank them & highly recommend them for a pleasant shopping experience.

Since this is a good place to buy in bulk, we really couldn't buy very much because we were staying at a hotel, and it wasn't feasible for us to lug the rest back home when our stay was over. That being said, this store is exactly laid out the same as other Sam's Clubs in Sacramento. We did notice that they also sell motorcycles which we thought was interesting. The downside of being a US citizen shopping here, is that they do not accept the Sam's Club Credit card or any other American issued credit cards for that matter! You must either have a bank account in Mexico or pay cash. You would think these stores would be consistent under their trade name no matter what country they are in.....

So be warned if you're a Sam's member in the US and you have a Sam's credit card issued by their…read morebank in the US it won't work at Sams in Mexico, and we couldn't pay by debit card either as we don't have a Mexican bank account so its cash only unless you happen to have American Express which the Sams in Mexico seem to accept. Otherwise similar to what you'd see in the US and the lay out isn't a whole lot different. The prices are what you would expect for Sams Club but unfortunately we had to leave our planned purchases at the register as I didn't want to have to get cash out just for 2 purchases.
