And It actually look much bigger than I expected when I saw it in really life. It still look funky and somehow funny. He just gave me a smile. he kind of remind me the combination of Attack On Titan and Manneken Pis. After visited The Crusell Bridge, I decided to have a walk to this place, it actually took a longer time than I expected, because of the construction around this place. Probably it would be a better idea just take the public transports. I like the statue, the expression and I also made some funny pictures. Not sure other people will have the same appreciation for this. But if you have time and tired of the regular sightseeing, this might be the place for you.

I wouldn't have thought that I'd be reviewing public restrooms in Finland, but these are some world…read moreclass toilets. The public restrooms in Helsinki are some of the best loos I've ever seen! Talk about nice- they're quite utilitarian, free, and sanitary! A lot of thought and design have gone into these toilets. Stepping in, you mash a button outside that opens the door. Once you enter, the self-cleaning starts. The floor of the bathroom is made up of a steel grate, where you can see below, with holes small enough that you don't have to worry about your keys falling in, but large enough to let through snow and ice that might get tracked in. As you enter, water begins to flush under the floors, to clean out any possible ick that was left behind by the prior user. The restrooms are not gender specific, they're based on #1 or #2, with a giant urinal basin on one side, and a sit-down toilet on the other. Within the sit down toilet, they have a series of buttons to unlock the door, to call for help, or to do something with a needle-injected drug overdose. There was a button with a syringe on it... The place was automatic with adjusting the toilet seat up or down, turning on the sink, pumping out some soap, and drying, while well lit, warm, and the doors locked securely. Everything was automated, and felt safe. I really appreciated these public restrooms that are in most of the parks around Helsinki. In a town that drinks as much coffee as Helsinki, these public restrooms are the best!
