If they didn't put out a rack of produce when they were open, you could easily walk by and miss it. Inside, it's small, and kind of oddly laid out, but they're probably doing the best they can with the space they have. I gather than Nahkauf is related to Rewe, because it carries the same "house brand" products, alongside brand-name products. There's a little deli counter around the corner at the back, and there are enough choices of things like breads, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, and so on that you could grab yourself a quick meal in a hurry. The selection is not, of course, anything like you'd see in a full-blown Rewe, Lidl, or Aldi, but we dropped in a couple of times for a quick bite. The clerks are friendly, and if you don't immediately catch on when they tell you your total in German, they'll swing their little screen around so you can read it. They're also pretty patient while you fumble through unfamiliar bills and coins.
