I was part of a private event. The cool thing about doing a private event is that we all were able to pick out our projects in advance and when we arrived our projects were ready to go. I am not big on signage as decor or cute sayings so I chose to do a custom design which involved sending in some artwork I wanted to use so they could create my stencils. The shop is laid out great, and they have a lot of finished designs on the walls you can use for inspiration. Also, the owners are very helpful. They demonstrated techniques for every step of the process, suggested stains and paints for people who needed help and more. We were also able to bring in snacks and drinks, which was nice. We had a really fun afternoon so I would definitely recommend it as a place to go with friends, family or coworkers for a team building event.
