They have the trackman which gives you data on the left like impact video, which shows you the ball route and the impact on the head. It's great for practices! I was on the fence about dropping some serious money on golf lessons, but I knew that I not only…read moreneeded lessons but also needed to follow some sort of program. Ultimately it is well worth the cost. My coach Kevin D. is great. Kevin developed a plan and we worked through a lot of different swing issues. We even did a playing lesson out on the course. I love being able to come in and practice indoors when it is cold/hot outside. I have dropped 2 points off my handicap with the 15 lessons that I took. Looking forward to dropping it some more. Overall I would 100% do it again and I plan on extending my plan out when it's time. If you decide to go this route, you need to put the practice in, if you do not you will have wasted your money. You need to take what you learned in your lesson and practice it and get ready to focus on another topic at your next lesson. Thinking of cost, it is roughly the same as going to any legit PGA level golf instructor. The difference is that you have to pay it all up front at GolfTec. But the added benefit is that you get to come in and practice, using all the technology/equipment, and you do not have to pay for range balls. Final thought, I dropped some money on new golf clubs a year prior to starting at GolfTec. I wish I had taken that money and used it on these lessons first. I would have been much further along than I am now. It's funny that people will spend a bunch of money on equipment and then complain how bad they suck at golf. But they don't want to spend the money on lessons so they can use their shine expensive golf equipment. Just go and do it.

I came here by recommendation of a local Facebook group to change the grips of my clubs. While I…read morewas waiting, I saw multiple patrons come in and out of the shop. Some were there to find something to add to their bag and others were there to shoot the breeze. While assisting and catching up with regular patrons, Jay took the time to educate me on how to regroup my clubs so I could maybe try to do them myself next time and also give me some insight on general club fitting. It's a small little shop (next to a decent driving range), but there is undoubtedly a sense of community here. Between the patron who was trying out all sorts of clubs from the available selection to the gentleman who wanted to dibs on the next shipment of a particular brand of clubs that was coming in that week. TL;DR - Come for the service. Stay for the people.

Jay and Matt are extremely knowledgeable and the shop has everything you could ever need. Whether you are looking for new or used, they'll either have it or know where to get it. Did I mention they take trade-ins? He asked if it was climate controlled so I told him it never gets above 82-84 degrees. Then his next feeble attempt was to say it was because the tape they use inside the grip just isn't long enough, and it wasn't really a problem. I asked if the manager was there, and he told me he was the manager on duty. Bottom line is all he did was try to make me believe it was either my fault or a new loose grip on on my putter that I just paid them for was not a problem. A terrible experience with a kid that just tried to shy from responsibility.
