I ama new patient and was referred to the specialty care due to previous health trauma. I was very…read moredisappointed because I was initially told that the practice would bill my dental insurance provider and then my medical insurance as secondary and once the payment or non-payment is received, I will then be biled a montly statement for the balance. Upon my visit, I was then advised otherwise. I was prepared to cover the amount that I was told. I was also a bit perturb for 2 reasons: 1) after 2 weeks and me communication with the office, I was made aware that my x-rays from my general dentist were not received. 2) I completed the necessary paperwork online and submitted it electronically several days immediately upon receipt of the link and prior to my visit. It was suggested that I not complete using the cellphone but on a computer because it does not transmit properly. Well apparently, that does not work either. Again, I was not informed that it had not been received until I arrived and then I had to manually complete in-office. The pano xrays were then taken. I was, however, very disappointed because Dr. Travis Williams only looked at the x-rays and never even sat down to take a look inside of my mouth for an oral exam. . He was extremely polite but literally spent approximately 60 seconds in the room with me and exited expeditiously. I tried to explain a little about my health condition and the fact that the tooth has been bothering me for a few months and that it has been attributing to migraine-like headaches that have caused me to visit the emergency room a few times. He was very abrupt and cut me off mid-conversation. Right after his rude exit, Alexis quickly came into the office to talk and the plan of care and MOEY. With this being done I was very happy to get up out of the office. I paid the $80.00 , and I couldn't wait to get out of there to get home to take some Tylenol to ease the pain. I was initially given an appointment with Dr. Ashley Eugenio at the Wesly Chapel office and wish I would've kept it . This wouldve definitely saved me some "wasted time' because I live less than 10minutes from this office, and perhaps she would have been a little more patient and compassionate. Nonetheless, the front office staff was very professional and personable.

I actually had my first tonsillectomy as child (13 years old), but had chronic sore throats and my throat would literally ooze at times from infection. I finally decided to get it fixed after living with sore throats for 20+ years on a daily basis. The procedure was more difficult than a standard tonsillectomy because he had to go over scar tissue and the area that needed to be removed was very small and scattered throughout the back of throat. Although the recovery process was painful, it was well worth it, I no longer suffer from chronic sore throats. My second surgery with Dr. C was to fix my breathing and deviated septum from breaking my nose in college. Very little pain following the surgery and everything healed up great. The staff at the office are wonderful too. Would highly recommend.

We finalized my bill and I paid in full at the time of service. My procedure went fine although I still have a pit next to my molar that hasn't properly healed in over 4 months and no one returned those calls. Beyond that, I started getting bills for additional services. Since I paid in full and was specifically told I was paying in full, this came as a surprise. I left a message regarding the discrepancy. The return call started with a clear HIPAA violation. The lady never verified who I was before getting into my billing, insurance information, and the specifics of my procedure. This was especially concerning considering she had called the wrong number. Thankfully, it was one of my business lines, but she could have been discussing my care with a stranger! In fact, I never even confirmed who I was because it was an unrecognized number and I refuse to even confirm my identity unless I know the caller. In any case, I explained that I'd paid in full at the time of service. She told me the insurance didn't pay enough and claimed she had no way of knowing what my insurance would pay. In the same breath, she explained that their billing was correct because they had the details of my insurance benefits. They had to get prior authorization from my insurance before the procedure, so they knew exactly what would be paid out. When I brought this up, she told me I didn't know what I was talking about when it came to insurance. They knew my benefits and she claimed the surgery went beyond the benefits. So, I asked why nothing was mentioned before or after the procedure. She said it was my fault for not reading that it was estimate. I was told I was signing an authorization form and agreeing to the charges listed. I saw that it was written as an estimate, but I was told this was the amount and she asked how I'd like to pay. I explained that I would pay in full. That would have been the perfect segue into explaining that it was an estimate, not reinforcing the idea that it was the final amount. When something says it's an estimate and the person running the payment tells you it's the amount to pay in full, you believe the human. When I explained that to the lady on the phone, she said that it was the front desk girl's fault and had it been someone else running the payment, the clarification would have been made. That doesn't help me right now. Apparently, this billing issue is everyone else's fault and they refuse to take responsibility or be accountable for their staff's ineptitude. She asked what I wanted her to do about it and I said I'd like her to remove the additional charge since it was never explained to me. She refused. I told her I'd even leave a positive review about how well they work with patients over discrepancies if she'd take care of this. She refused. So, I said I'd leave a low review because of their shifty billing and how she was treating me. She flat out told me she didn't care because they have enough good patients, unlike me, who leave positive reviews. She ended the call by telling me they were going to send me to collections. So, they don't care about your privacy since they clearly violate HIPAA and they lie about charges. Beyond that, they don't respect their patients once they're out the door, they're sneaky with charges after you pay in full, and they threaten you if you call them out on their dishonest business practices. It's sad to see that they prefer shady billing over patient satisfaction, but I guess if you can goose everyone for an extra twenty percent, that amounts to a pretty nice payday at the end of the year. Whatever they tell you up front, be ready to pay an additional spurious fee when all is said and done. I can't give them a good recommendation. I mean, when you have an issue with their procedure, they won't call you back, but when they want their money, they're happy to return the call bright and early the next day.

Typically dentist office staff are nicer than doctors, but this office takes the cake. They only take one specific type of dental insurance that is hard to obtain (aenta extend PPO) so good luck paying everything out of network and out of pocket. Office manager is extremely rude and condescending. Office staff used to be friendly but they no longer work here. Any feedback you leave them, they will scream at you and ignore. Their hours are limited so "taking off work" is their solution to making an appointment and no one else will ever cancel their appointment for months so there's no availability in later time slots they say they have. I tried for over a month to get an afternoon time slot. They are happy to not have your business or money so find somewhere else to go. I found another practice that takes my dental insurance and doesn't give me such a hard time or try to accommodate my work schedule. The hygienist here is good and nice but told me I needed my wisdom teeth out and referred me to the office's oral surgeon friend that only comes by once a month and doesn't take insurance. But she didn't mention insurance. It's like the only patients they have here are full of privilege. I tried to ask for outside oral surgeon referrals and they have none because no other doctors are their friends. This is after I got a panorama from the Carrollwood office and had to pay out of pocket for it after. So I was very upset about it and complained but they only gave me a 50% discount and said I owed the rest without any remorse or apology. I will add that Dr Singh takes other insurance types like MetLife but I wasn't really impressed by his bedside manner so it is another reason I looked for another dental practice to go to, which there are plenty of competition in the south tampa area that will take your insurance. It only took me a quick google search and 5 minute phone call to book an appointment elsewhere. It is a shame their office staff is ruining their practice for patients.

She over-bills you and keeps a balance of your money in her account that she then keeps if you try to end treatment. 3. She was so incompetent when it came to my dental implants they had to be redone multiple times -- for which she charged me! 4. Not only were the implants improperly placed -- according to my subsequent specialist with whom I am very pleased -- but there was serious infection found underneath the implants she did that created multiple additional problems. 5. She refused any responsibility for the repeated problems with her dental work and when I said I had found another dentist and wanted the balance of my money returned, she had her minions cite a "$500 processing fee" for the reason she would not return the overpayment she kept holding on my account. Run, run, run away from this incompetent and money-grubbing poser before she sinks her fangs into your bank account. That's all she cares about. The worst ever. No shame.
