this salon used to be the place to go. it always felt so warm and welcoming - the kind of place you actually look forward to visiting because the staffs smiles made your day. ive tanned here for a years, but a few months ago i switched to another salon, simply because i no longer feel appreciated as a customer. i shouldnt feel like a burden for coming in to do something i pay for. dont get me wrong - the girls upfront who seem to be working ALONE most of the time are wonderful. theyre always cheerful, hardworking, and provide excellent customer service, even when theyre clearly overrwhelmed. ive watched them trying to check people in, clean beds, and still greet everyone with a smile, all while the 2 older employees sit in the office. ive even seen them peek out, see the girls struggling, and go right back in. i dont pretend to know what goes into running a tanning salon, but common sense tells me emails and sales tasks can wait a few minutes when us customers are lined up. a GOOD manager should be setting an examples and stepping in when help is needed. the 24 hour rule which i know is the law however, makes it inconvenient for people who work varying hours - again, not necessarily the fault of the front desk staff, but it becomes a inconvenience when help is short and the higher ups choose not to step in and speed things along. the very few times ive been waited on by these 2 employees, theyve been rude and overly pushy about selling the most expensive lotions, which comes off as more of sales pressure than customer service. theres no "hi, how are you today?" - just an aggressive sales pitch that if you decline, is followed rudely by "what bed are you doing and how long?" its dissapointing, because this place used to be different. i dont typically write reviews, but i truly miss the atmosphere this salon once had. the hardworking employees up front deserve better leadership and role models. i truly hope Tim Grindle takes a closer look, because with the right changes, it could be great again... read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! They like to have FULL control of the way YOU choose to tan . You pay for what is supposed to be an unlimited membership only to have them shave minutes off of the tanning bed you choose that day. They hide behind some false LAW they are unable to prove exists. Please keep in mind if you choose to tan here... the law harped on 2 things.. You MUST be 18 years old to tan and you are only allowed 1 tan in a 24 hour time period!!!! Please do your research!!! DICTATORSHIP!!! And taking tanning advice from these people is like going to a dentist with ROTTEN TEETH!!!! read more

don't waste your time and money here. This is a dictatorship, they will only let you tan 7 mins your first time (even though you sign a waver). You can not tan more than once in a 24 hour period. so if you go at noon one day you can't go at 10 am the next. They make you buy eye protection at their shop. if you buy the level higher tanning bed, you don't have to wait so im assuming this is done to get more money from you. As soon as my 1 month is over, I'm done with this place. get off of your high horses. read more

This place is so unprofessional. They let a costumer in two beds at once. I explained I was upset about that and instead of just saying something like oh it's our policy. Robin and her merry woman started screaming at me. Then the handyman started talking crap about me because he thought I left the vicinity. I have been to a lot of spas and that is by far the worst I have ever been treated. read more

I Got Yelled at Teaz salon today by Robin and her Merry Woman!!! I have never seen a salon act in this mannner. people in this town are getting way out of hand. will not give my money back so they want to look at us for another month so be it!!!! I am so livid with these ppl, i bought a spray tanning package and high pressure tanning to use before I went on vacation....I told her I wanted to sessions, because I would be leaving for vaca in 2 weeks...and wanted to spray tan the day before I left.....went to tanning bed approx 5 times, tried to make an apt for the spray tan, was told I didnt need one. showed up the next day, was told I DID need an apt for the spray tan, they were booked....livid...was refused a refund for the spray tan package...go in today only to find out she had put me on the 1 month unlimited, instead of what I asked for....so I paid $127 for 5 tanning sessions and a lotion....there aren't words for how mad I am...I will NEVER give them business again read more

Upset that I have to wait a complete 24 hours to get a 10 minute tan. Two years ago this wasn't a issue.
