I'm not sure how I feel about this activity for my 5 and 9 year old nephews. My nephews football team decided to host their end of season team party here.... Not a fan at all of promoting guns and kiddies using them. For a Friday night this place was way too packed for me. We went to Team Tactics Laser Tag in Woodbridge for a day of fun, and it totally exceeded our expectations. The range of gear was way better than what you usually see at laser tag places; everyone could pick different kinds of weapons, so you could really play to your strengths. A couple of us went with the heavier blasters for that "tank" feel, while others picked faster, more precise weapons that let you get creative with your shots. They also had a bunch of game modes, not just the typical team matches. Some were all about strategy, and you could tell that a lot of thought went into making each mode challenging in a different way. It kept things fresh--no two games felt the same. What really made the day, though, was Joey. He wasn't just supervising but actually got involved in the games, making sure everyone knew the rules and giving pointers to make it fair and fun for everyone. He managed that perfect balance of being helpful without being overbearing, which honestly made the experience feel more personal and enjoyable. He even added some funny commentary here and there, keeping us all laughing while still hyping us up. Overall, it was just a genuinely fun day with a great setup and staff that really cared. A group of us adults wanted to have some fun before doing our usual drink and eats so for the hubby's birthday, we set out to do a little laser tag to burn off the week's end steam. The staff has been friendly and accommodating. For our group of 10, I conferred with Malik with any questions and concerns I had. Malik and the staff also helped me feel at ease to meet our dinner reservation time nearby and helped calculate which missions would be best. A smooth execution all around and at best. If we had younger children, this is the way to go. They have other games (video and air hockey etc.) to be entertained with while you wait and in between missions for a slight break. Meanwhile, us adults kicked back a couple beers while we waited. We were winded a bit after excitement and sudden body movements as middle aged folks so I can imagine little ones having more fun than us! It was a great hit amongst our party and def must do again. We scheduled a special lasertag session for a team building experience. There were 11 adults ages 25-45. When we arrived, there was a power outage in the area but Team Tactics was not deterred. They put out lanterns and we were going to play. Luckily power was restored before we started the first game. They had a bunch of different weapons. We did 4 scenarios in 2 hours. Everyone in our group had a great time. Between games they opened the snack bar and some of our group enjoyed beer. Each scenario/game we played was creative and fun. I absolutely recommend this business. Check it out if you're looking for something to do. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. They have free lockers for patrons to lock their stuff in and it's very clean inside. read more

I would give this place 10 starts if I could, I came there with a bunch of friends after my engagement party and the owner and staff took really good care of us. The prices were beyond fair and they had other games there for free. It's a small sibling owned business ran spectacularly. The place has three different arenas and 7 different weapons to choose from. The staff there are extremely nice and they really did everything to ensure we had a good experience. I always write long reviews lol here goes! Great staff that knows how to talk to both kids and adults with respect! The arenas were very clean and both the vests and guns were sanitized after every single game! There was a HUGE selection of game modes to play. I went with my two siblings and we were able to hop into a game with a birthday party consisting of both kids and adults right away. The big birthday group stopped playing to eat and the staff set up a free-for-all game for the three of us in the meantime, which was so much fun! Some people may complain about the mandatory waiver, but it lasts for a whole year. It only takes like, 3-4 mins lol No big deal! The only things I'd change about Team Tactics would be to have a more intricate arena, change the vests, and replace the light beams with actual lasers. - There were three arenas and all of them seemed to be a bit too open. I went to Laser Quest growing up and I think I'm a bit spoiled because of it lol my siblings and I think there'd be plenty of room in the Team Tactics building to make one huge arena like the one LQ had with tight corners, dead-ends, ramps to an upper floor, catwalks, etc. The arenas, as they are, are pretty open and the cover is pretty sparse. It's a bit more concealing if you're short, so it gives kids a nice advantage I suppose lol anyway, needs more walls, more blind corners, and fewer obstacles. - The vests were pretty neat because they're very similar to the FLC vests used by the military. The downside of the vests is that the colors for the teams are the old army digi-cam and the current coyote brown. In the dark arenas, it's kinda hard to tell the difference and you and your teammates can accidentally shoot each other. Friendly fire is on, which is more realistic, but be careful who you shoot haha! - The guns are modeled after real weapons and you get to choose which weapon you use in the game before you start each match! They also have different rates of fire and reload times, so you get to choose a different one every time and can get a good feel for what you prefer, like in video games! They even have reload buttons and you can see how many lives you have left! So cool! The issue I had with the weapons is that they don't have that great of a range on them (they work like tv remotes; try to shoot from too far away and the light won't reach the other teams sensors). Bringing up LQ again, lasers there had a very long range and you can see where you're shooting if you puff a little artificial fog into the room. Aside from the 3 things I'd change, there's still a welcoming and happy staff and has clean arenas, vests, and guns. It's different than what we're used to, but it's worth going and we'll be back for more soon! read more

I used a two for one groupon special today. The good: Staff was friendly. The business is clean and well organized with free lockers to secure valuables. The have free wifi and a snack area. Good restaurants are nearby for a good meal. The video instructions are clear and easy to understand. The weapons look cool. The bad: The registration process is a bit extra for a laser tag. Waivers are usually reserved for dangerous physical activities such as trampoline parks. This is a very underwhelming laser tag experience. The "arena" consists of a small black room full of tables, file cabinets and cardboard boxes. The weapons provide no feedback when fired, nor does the opposition's vest when hit. My family has much more fun with or laser tag set we have at home and in the park. The look of dissatisfaction was common among all the players from ages 5 to 40. A 60 second game of "What was that?" I will not be coming back. 2nd visit: ...Sooo we came back (after a meal at El Paso next door) to use the rest of the groupon vouchers. We explained the dissatisfaction and tried another mission. Turns out we were in the worst room playing a short mission. The "blood line" mission was more fun. Each partner can get the other revived by going to a nearby referee. The room was largeer with barrels and stacked crates. This room was more that just household clutter. This lengthened the game long enough to learn the weapons and enjoy the experience. Perhaps longer visits with three or more missions will ensure a better experience your group. read more

horrible experience honestly. first time ever trying it and they chose a broken game and their manager had to change the game mid session and we had a group of 6 looking forward to a fun game but instead they gave us an extra random kid that plays it every weekend. kid literally just sat there with a pistol and followed us around until he killed everyone. your gun wouldn't work until like 2 seconds after you get revived and he was the only one that knew that so literally just sucked the fun out of it. super janky and waste of money. never would recommend. also staff was alright felt like they really know what was going on either. read more

We've been at Team Tactics a few times and always have a great time. Each time there's a different "mission" and the staff does a great job of mixing it up. They greet you with a warm smile. There's a variety of "laser guns" that are realistic and fun. We enjoy watching the live action on the tv screens from the lobby. Grateful for the lockers to store your valuables. read more

My question has gone ignored and they changed their facebook page for the event to require admin approval for posts instead of just answering the question. You cant just host an event that says "FREE COMBAT*" and then have 0 details on what that "*" actually means and go out your way to silence those trying to ask a simple question for some clarification on their event. I have lived in Woodbridge for 16 years. This is such a nice addition to Woodbridge!! Other laser tag places in the area are looking run down, Team Tactics is so nice, clean and offers laser tag on steroids!!! You can choose your selection of guns.....I mean it's crazy!! Long guns, pistols.....crazy!!! I had a party for my 10 year old son today, and Team Tactics definitely went above and beyond to make this party a success!!! Josh was so easy going and makes everything run smoothly!! The courses inside were fun, and all 14 kids had a BLAST!! At the end we had parents vs kids...I seriously think adults had as much if not more fun!! I will go back there for my 13 years old sons party, and definitely have an adult night event there! It is fun and approachable for any age but it has rules of engagement like limited hits/lives, ammo consumption and reload times so that you have to think about your approach rather than just run around randomly. The sensor vests are lightweight and comfortable. There are different types of laser guns based on real life ones to choose from. Each have there own strengths and weaknesses. The staff is great. This is family owned and run. They go out of their way to make your experience a good one. They keep it fun by mixing up the rules of engagement between the rounds. In went on a Sunday and there was a birthday party going on. They all seemed like they were having a ball. Me and my son had fun mixing it up with the chaos of younger kids. I recommend getting a day pass if they have a good price being offered. You can go through a single round fast if you get taken out. Great concept well thought out , they offer 50 missions . And you have the option to have request your favorite. Downside is the guns were going to have blowup action but they don't , they feel and look authentic . Laser tag was a AK47 or M15 can be pretty fun. More importantly the owners are family owned and shared his entrepreneurial history with us which was very inspirational. I could definitely see them starting some Halo or Wii tournaments in Atrim very spacious .they serve light snack , non and alcoholic drinks. read more

This was a really good laser tag location until my last visit. I purchased a Groupon just like the other 3 times I attended this location. When my son and I tried to redeem the voucher, the gentlemen at the counter rudely told us that they are not accepting this pass because we were just there within 90 days and would have to wait another 90 days to use the voucher. I had no idea because I used a Groupon the last 3 times I visited before and no one else told me that was the case and let us play with our vouchers. This will be the last time I go here and would not recommend this location to anyone as I was rudely denied access after paying over $30 for a voucher. read more

This place is awesome! I brought my kids here today hoping to show them a good time. My son is 12, and my daughter is 10. They are very hard to please, having been to several laser tag facilities in the area. Well this quickly became their new favorite place! We all had a total blast from morning to night, and there were as many adults as kids participating in every mission. There is so much more variety here to keep things interesting and fun, with different arenas, an abundance of tactical missions to conquer, and a terrific assortment of realistic guns to enhance the overall experience. Don't expect all the lights and music typically found at every other laser tag place. The simplicity of the arenas actually makes the overall experience considerably more authentic. This was the real deal! I even saw a couple military people enjoying themselves. The missions encourage teamwork and camaraderie. Entire families, co-workers, and a couple private parties were all participating. The staff is very professional and organized. I liked the fact that I could chill out in the relaxing, clean lobby with a beer when tired, watch sports on several video screens, and stick my valuables like my iPad securely in a locker (included) when doing missions. I went there with some friends of mine to try it out for our first time. It was a bad experience from the start. The girl behind the counter had no idea what she was doing and how to deal with us. We tried to find out was going on, since she was dealing with out debit cards. She said "nothing" and kept looking around for a manager. When the receipt printed, she didn't hand it to us but threw it away and shouted for a manager. The mission was rushed and I had no idea what I was doing. No one could properly tell me this is this and that is that. I was in the game for about 5 minutes because I got eliminated because I had no idea how to use the gun. Wasted $10 for me to be in there for 5 minutes. Probably the last time I will be there. read more
