I would not recommend Toad Hall Children's Center based on my family's experience. We ultimately…read moredecided to remove our child from the program after multiple serious safety concerns and what felt like a complete lack of accountability from administration. Over time, there were several troubling incidents involving bullying, physical aggression, and threats made by another child that were not handled appropriately by staff. In one case, our child required medical attention after mulch was thrown into his eye during inadequate supervision on the playground. There were also situations where we were either not informed about incidents at all or only learned about them directly from our child afterward. When concerns were brought to administration, communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. We repeatedly requested to review footage related to incidents involving our child and were given conflicting information about whether anyone had even reviewed the recordings. The refusal to provide clarity or transparency only raised more concerns for us. We were also disturbed to learn about ongoing complaints regarding understaffing, classroom ratios, and concerns about safety procedures. From our experience, the facility appeared disorganized and unable to provide the level of supervision and care parents should expect from a childcare center. Child safety should always come first, and unfortunately we did not feel that was the case here. Parents considering this center should ask detailed questions about supervision policies, incident reporting, and staff accountability before enrolling their children.

Discover Montessori Academy has been a wonderful place for our son Luca, and we couldn't be happier…read morewith the experience. From the moment we first visited, we felt a genuine sense of warmth and professionalism from the staff. The teachers are not only kind and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable about early childhood development and the Montessori approach. They take the time to understand each child's unique personality and learning style, and it really shows in how Luca is growing. Since starting at Discover Montessori, we've seen so much progress in Luca's language skills, independence, and confidence. He comes home excited to share what he's learned and is always eager to go back the next day--which says a lot! We love how the environment encourages hands-on learning, problem-solving, and collaboration, all while allowing the children to explore at their own pace. The school communicates well with parents and creates a strong sense of community. They send daily pictures and updates and we always feel informed and involved in Luca's day-to-day learning. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he is in such a nurturing and stimulating environment. We are truly grateful for Discover Montessori and all the teachers (especially teacher Alma) who are helping shape our son's early education in such a positive and meaningful way!

Without a doubt I can tell you that Ms. Roni and Ms. Desi had a huge impact on ensuring he had a positive outlook regarding school and supplied the building blocks for him to be a lifelong learner and successful student. The Director, Ms. Faith was always responsive to any situation or concern (although very few occurred) and showed genuine love and care for him and our family. I am so thankful for all the amazing individuals involved with this preschool and appreciate all they do to serve any family in our community. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for their children to grow and learn both academically and socially.

IM GOING TO SAY THIS FIRST !!!!MY SON IS NOT…read more GOING BACK!!!! My son is four and in preschool. He has been in full time daycare since he was about 18 months and intellectually he is very far ahead of most others his age. I sent him to this school because they had excellent reviews online and we just moved to Florida so it was also 1.5 miles from my house. My friend sends her son who is also 4 there and she loved it there last year. 1. It's at a really dangerous intersection. I was in contact with the police department about changing it somehow but they never did anything. 2. Every Monday when I try to pay for the week there is never anyone in the office. In fact there is never anyone in the office in the mornings when I drop him off at 830am. School opens at 7 I believe but at 9am when I've tried to call no one is there. 3. For some reason every day he comes home STARVING but there's still snacks in his lunch box. 4. There is 12? Kids in the classroom with 1-2 teachers 5. My son was doing basic addition and spelling and learning Spanish last year at school and since he came to this school he has lost a lot of the Information. (He's been there since the end of August). 6. Since he has been at this school he has been hit, scratched, head butted, stung by a bee, come home with pink eye..... with all of these incidents I never received a call just an "incident report" upon picking him up from school. 7. There are two kids in the classroom who constantly have issues with other students at the school and they do nothing about it. My son tells me almost daily that "my friends at school are mean to me". It damn near breaks my heart. He tells me "(child's name) hits me and scratches me and kicks me" so I ask him if he told the teacher and he always says yes. And I ask him what she does about it and he says "nothing". I've gotten so frustrated that since telling the teacher isn't doing anything "hit him back then. But NEVER hit someone first" (I FULLY SUPPORT SELF DEFENSE) if he started acting this way while at school here he definitely learned that from the other kid because he has NEVER been exposed to that prior. He never had these issues at his previous school. My son's babysitter went and picked him up from school Wednesday and told me she saw two kids fighting on the playground and the new teacher just watched them and did nothing. He also came home with pink eye that day and I never got a call from this school. I'm writing a full review of my personal experience with this place because I feel everyone should know what kind of environment they will possibly be subjecting their children too. The school has also lost a few of his outfits because they "washed them" but we never saw them again. Soiled/dirty clothing should be sent home in a plastic bag to prevent this. When I went to the school to get his things since he won't be back because he has pink eye. The director (Ms. Faith) didn't even ask me about my reasons for leaving. She just said that if it doesn't work out at the next school that I'm out of luck. Like I'm not going to make it a point to tell her the issues I have encountered here. Just shows she doesn't really care or care to change anything. I have voiced my concerns with the teacher several times and every time I have tried the office. The front door is locked and lights are off. HE IS STARTING A DIFFERENT SCHOOL MONDAY
