The service: has room for improvement. The waiter obviously had more important things on his mind…read morethan his customers. First of all he did not even bring us a Menu, he just somehow expected us to know what we want straight away. After a 30km bike tour we went there since it looked like a ''German place'' where one could get a good Schnitzel. When he finally brought us the Menu, there was no such thing it consisted mainly of appetizers. Little did we know that that was not the actual Menu The waiter did not think to inform us that if we would wait for half an hour we would have a much broader selection of main dishes to choose from. He was always quick to rush back inside (the restaurant was not packed at the time), he did not take his time to talk to us.
The food: okish to terrible. I ended up ordering a mixed cheese plate while my partner had a Goulash soup. It is hard to go wrong with the later, however I could not have anticipated that with ''mixed cheese'' they actually meant a ton of supermarket bought cheese, some pickles and a few sorry pieces of Brie. They brag in their Menu about the fresh produce, the farmers cheese, fresh goat cheese (which they did not even have at the time), but everything on that plate tasted like from a cheap supermarket. The bread was also very stale.
Location: the area outside looks very nice. They should get some blankets, it can get pretty windy/chilly on that island.
