My husband and I were really excited to get our new-to-us home move-in ready, and having the…read morecarpets professionally cleaned was an important part of that process. Overall, the carpet was already in great condition, but there were some areas with compacted fibers from heavy foot traffic. Our goal was to freshen everything up, ensure it was truly clean (not just look clean), and hopefully restore some of the plushness in those worn spots. My husband pointed out the areas of concern and was reassured they would improve with the cleaning. The service itself was professional and easy to schedule, but the initial results didn't quite meet our expectations. The high-traffic areas didn't lift as we had hoped. I didn't share my concerns right away, but I should have because Maxine was very responsive and committed to making things right. She offered to have the areas I was unhappy with retreated, which I really appreciated. Matthew came out for the follow-up service and was very pleasant, professional, and thorough. He took the time to address the problem areas. I'm grateful for the team's responsiveness and their willingness to stand behind their work.

I specifically mentioned the reason for the cleaning service (cat urine) and that I needed this treated. The person I spoke with to schedule apparently misheard me to say I did NOT need pet stains addressed. The only reason I mention this is because I wish the pricing was more transparent on the website. The person who came to our home was polite, courteous, and detail oriented. Overall, I would definitely use their services in the future if we have any more cat accidents!!!

My husband and I were planning on replacing our old, dingy and stained carpet with pricy hardwood flooring. After SCR's work yesterday we have put the floor replacement idea on the back burner. Our carpet looks brand new! We had some pretty dark staining from the previous homeowner and Adam and Mike were able to remove it completely! The whole process only took a couple of hours. Set-up and breakdown was relatively quick. Mike moved all the furniture out of the work area and both took care with the wall edges/corners and hoses. Adam is extremely knowledgeable about the products that he uses and both were very professional. Pride and customer satisfaction is very important to them. I am definitely keeping Scientific Cleaning and Restoration in my contacts list and will likely call again in 6 months for another cleaning. Why go with a "commercial coupon cleaner" and get so-so results?
