Though my couch wasn't able to fit in my home I was in awe of how much effort they put into trying, lifting it over fences and giving it their best. And no worries guys I had that couch for 15 years and was planning an upgrade anyways. I had a restful night's sleep in my bed at the end of the night because they assembled it and moved everything where it needed to be. / Only one negative - the tape they are given to use by the company doesn't stick so well like the brands I can get at Home Depot. I'd recommend an upgrade on the tape for a quality of life improvement for everyone. Will bookmark this business and use the same for my next move. Might bring a box of my own tape though. To anyone who is moving I recommend buying lunch for your movers when they are done loading the truck. I bought everyone burgers from my favorite place and it re-energized everyone. Thanks again guys!

A great advantage was that I had a dedicated truck so that I didn't have to concern myself with delivery being dependent on other loads. Reliable, efficient, and a good value!…read more We found them by Googling and looking at Yelp, they have very high ratings which I now know why. This was for a one-way move from the Bay Area to Nevada, about a 4+ hour drive. Cost: reasonable and better than some other companies which wanted much much more. Fixed price based on what I described we had to move. I conferred w Nancy via phone, text, email. 4% fee if credit card is used. $200 deposit, can pay by cash/check/Venmo or Zelle. I used a cash app. There's no written contract. Moving day: Last month: movers Bao & Deng, don't speak English but seemed to understand us. Owner/supervisor Nancy came to out house to see, a surprise! Their moving truck was clean. Moved items from house and storage facility. They padded and plastic wrapped bigger items like sofa, dresser, desk, etc. They are efficient and know their stuff - what would've taken me and my family 3-4 hours to move they finished in 30 minutes! Nothing broken, nothing damaged. Payment: $200 cash tip each. $2,100 final payment via Cash App. Reliable, efficient movers, would use them again!

Finally getting around to a kudos review of Lunardi Moving Services…read more Executive Summary: Pros all the way. That said, the details: We were recommended to Lunardi for our short distance move within San Jose by friends who had previously contracted with them for their own local moves (Silicon Valley). We had them move our "packed to the gills" 1400 sq ft home plus loaded two-car garage to a slightly larger home about 2.5 miles away from each other. Initial price quote was a bit higher than a couple of the other companies contacted but felt it was worthwhile and still reasonable given that they were a "friend-recommended" company. Our final payment amount did come out a bit higher at the end of the day but that was due to OUR adding more to the load than what I originally told them that required a second round trip. On top of that, we had them haul away and dispose of a number of large items that we decided to not hassle with selling or otherwise disposing of ourselves. (Large cabinets, desk, chairs and more.) The moving crew was on time, started right in as soon as they got to our place and took extra time being VERY CAREFUL with our more fragile items (and honestly, items that weren't even what I would have considered that fragile). Meaning: they went over and above by plastic wrapping and padding things that I personally would have just thrown in a truck! Special notes: They also moved our baby grand piano, taking care to disassemble the legs and top, wrapping everything with padding and reassembling perfectly at our destination. When I moved a dozen years ago, I had to have a specialty mover move the piano so this was a definite plus!! And, on top of that, they moved a very large "crafting cabinet" with swing out doors (that contain integral storage making it double deep) and moved it into its destination room whose entrance hall way and door was barely wide enough to fit through and required a very tight turn/maneuver to get it in! I had walked away from watching them in the tight hallway (see pic) to do something else and when I returned less than five minutes later, it was in the room exactly where it was supposed to go. I was scratching my head wondering, "How did they do that?!" But no matter, they did! They were also careful in making sure that related items (like TVs and their remote controls or tables and their legs) were bundled together and securely affixed to each other so it minimized our having to look all over for items that went together. That was much appreciated. All in all, they made our move very smooth and efficient. If I were moving again - which I NEVER want to do again, haha! - will call Lunardi first. Special shout out to Daniel Navarro, our "moving consultant" at Lunardi for being prompt, courteous and a pleasure to work with. But, have to say that everyone on the crew were excellent! Yup, pros all the way!

Pros - Packing was very meticulous adding a lot of padding as needed for various items - Assembly/Disassembly of furniture was quick and efficient Cons - Item organization was lacking. The boxes and items inside the box were mixed up a lot eg. bedroom items in kitchen box - Cost was not effective. 4.5 hours for packing up a 1 bedroom was still OK as they were quite detailed but then they took another 4.5 hours for unloading (from truck to 10 feet away elevator to 20 feet away apartment) which is way too much and took the cost into overtime and left no time for unpacking.

What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. As I now unpack, I'm finding everything in excellent condition and couldn't be more grateful. We'd heard stories about moving nightmares and wanted to share a happy ending. Guillermo and Sammy were AMAZING and their crews were very hard working. Tips: my sister had a table of bottled waters, bags of chips, and other snacks ready for the team when we arrived at the new house. The team appeared grateful for the sustenance. We also tipped each person individually, in cash.

I asked why when fuel is not being consumed while loading / unloading. The answer that is what we do. Wow, that is strange to charge $13.00 per hour for a truck not using fuel. Additional there is a min 30 min travel time charge which would be an additional $65 for this move. Not using them! This also appears to be illegal in California "Unfair Competition Law (UCL): Charging for a service not rendered (like fuel not used) can be argued as "unfair or deceptive" under California Business and Professions Code § 17200, especially if the surcharge is used as a hidden profit center rather than a cost recovery tool." Below is a reply and here is my response: The information about the fuel fee was presented to be based on a percentage of the total move time. Not your actual cost, which I would have been okay with. I'm not asking for anything to be waived, just transparency. Your remarks about your family are completely out of line. It's clear you want to change the subject from your questionable practice and make this personal. It is not personal. I don't know you other than how you have presented your business here. Very Questionably. I see you removed your statements about your family business. I provided the law that it appears you are not following in a private message.
