Since my husband and my wedding was themed very fantasy, renaissance, and extremely whimsical, we needed a photographer who could capture that well. Serge not only took the challenge but was excited by it, which told me that we made the right choice. He was there to help us with our location scouting, and since it was a camp his expertise in lighting and aesthetics came in hand when finding not only the perfect place to take our engagement photos but also, to hold the ceremony as well! Serge kept up the line of communication extremely well and would answer our questions within a couple minutes if not a couple hours if he was at a shoot. Now let's talk about the day of: weddings can be stressful, this is true. But Serge and his team member Alex were extremely chill and made sure my *then* betrothed and I were relaxed and having fun. They were extreme champs throughout the entire thing! And I'll tell you the photos that came out of the day were GORGEOUS. ABSOLUTELY. GORGEOUS. Literally stunning. I was so excited to share them with everyone!! I also got the package that included the video and LET ME TELL YOU! When we got it: TEARS. SOBS. LAUGHTER. JOY. All of the emotions. It was amazing. Serge had fixed parts of the wedding that I hadn't loved (they got my walk down song wrong but he fixed it and I sobbed when I heard the right one on the video) and highlighted all of the parts that were amazing (the friend interviews were absolutely hilarious and there was a surprise intro that turned the entire video into a storybook). It was phenomenal. Truly cinematography. So if you're looking for a photographer/videographer for a special day, you can stop now. Serge and his team is the best you're going to get.

I found out about them via DM on Instagram when they were running a promo. I wish I had seen reviews. 1. Engagement session This was complimentary and exceeded our expectations. They included super 8, film, video and photo and stayed an hour later to help us capture our dream shoot. The photos were phenomenal but the language barrier was a bit hard to navigate. Often causing us a delay to try and figure out what we exactly wanted. I found myself sometimes getting frustrated when trying to pose for shots. **Note: their videographer is almost like a vendor to them. They don't capture video but did do the editing. Communication gets lost when it's various people doing different jobs. 2. Wedding day We had a September wedding so we know Fall weddings get pretty booked and busy. Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues was not enough time -- which none of us can truly estimate! We were made aware a week before that one of the photographers out of the duo couldn't make it and we'd have a replacement. We couldn't do much at that stage. It caused a lot of issues day of not knowing her style/personality and her not understanding our vision. However, the editing of our final wedding package was severely different than our engagement session. Photos with half blinked eyes, fish lense filters we never asked for -- the vision was lost and I believe it was mostly due to impacted wedding season and the stand in photographer. I'm sad to have not received ONE straight on smiling photo of just my husband and I on the day of my wedding. We have a few but they just aren't our best angles. It's my biggest wedding regret. If you are looking for a cheaper route - this is a great duo to go with and to keep within budget! However, if you are Type A and looking for a very specific vision, it's not the company for you. Photos last a lifetime and are the one thing you keep forever from your wedding day. Other issues: - Someone running their social media posted my dress on their Instagram stories before I got to the venue. My husband saw it before he saw me. Awful. - Our contract stated we would get our final photos one month after our event. It took up to 8 weeks before of "busy season" which wasn't specified in our contract. - Lacking direction ... our wedding size was large but they lacked formal direction in capturing the day and keeping it flowing. No one knew where to be and how to smile. This ate up a bunch of time which didn't allow us as many photos just the two of us. They often said "hand on the hips" for the girls which is way too preppy and unlike us. See photos for reference!
