Despite being a local company, I would strongly recommend avoiding taybell for any home alarm service or system. We received an unreasonably high quote for relocating our alarm system from main bedroom to loft. In the meantime they sent one of their engineers to cut the wires from the box so we could continue redecorating. When we told them we didn't wish to take them on for the work they were extremely rude, becoming hostile, and eventually threatening to charge for engineer call out - £45 - unless we agreed to the quote. We accepted this but then the invoive came through at £69. I wrote to the company to contest the charge, but they replied saying that this was standard. How they can justify £69 for 5 minutes to cut two wires I cannot understand. Their unprofessional communication and unpleasant attitude in person and on the phone has left me very disappointed.
