There are four or five different ways to get from Palermo's airport to downtown Palermo including a…read morehired taxi (€70), a negotiated taxi (€40), train (not sure how much), the shared taxi (€7) and the bus (€6). The bus departs PMO airport every 30 minutes at the top and bottom of the hour, so if your timing works out right, this could be the way for you to go. Amazingly, the bus left on time and was a smooth and comfortable 35 minutes through traffic to get to our stop. The seats worked fine, there was a USB slot to charge my phone charger and the seat was decently comfortable for six foot tall American. Definitely would recommend this method of travel.
